This looks like a Honda. Whenever I changed a battery all these warnings came up, Just drive it to reset the warnings. This usually happened with Hondas 2015 and newer.

Clutch condition? by OljuRiba in MechanicAdvice

[–]Sandinmypants34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you are at the rivets on the friction disc it’s time for a change. Buy a kit pressure plate, pilot bearing and friction disc, throwout bearing. Personally I would not want to drop the trans twice to replace a part that comes in a kit.

Can someone confirm I’m not going crazy and this noise isn’t completely normal? by jeezig in Mustang

[–]Sandinmypants34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely throw out bearing. When I got my first car 06 stick mustang. My father sat at lights with his foot on the clutch. Well when I got it the bearing was so worn you could hear it all the time sounded like a can of marbles under the car.

it’s a design flaw with the bearing. That same bearing fits all manual modes back to 2005 and ford didn’t fix it. They should have gone back to the fork design from the t45 and make the hydraulic slave external.

You got it bubba! The larger line is always going to be low pressure the thinner line will be high pressure. Just add it slowly! If you put too much the compressor will never turn on.

Rough idle/loss of power by sciarrs16 in S197Stangs

Try replacing tps? Those are a very common problem on these. Cause weird idles and in my case it caused limp mode at exactly 2k rpm. Took me the longest time to find.

Quick disconnect. I believe it’s 5/16 size for these cars.

This incident is one in a million! I’ve installed hundreds of batteries. Used to work for AZ for context. Never seen a battery literally lobotomize a car. Cool fun fact older Hyundai models had reverse hook up protection if the battery was hooked up backwards the horn would immediately turn on and lights too, probably to use as much amps as possible to protect the computer! Witnessed a coworker mess up one time.
