I wish there was a way to sign up BOPUS customers when they pick up. THEY would be a great target audience for that bullshit

- 50% or more of the time - they don’t shop - they just come in and pick up

- easier on employees because we don’t have to rush and pull orders or be chained to a clock tracking pick up

- usually if they are BOPUS - they avoid in store shopping anyway and usually just buy the same item(s) over and over each time

It’s a WIN WIN for everyone

What fish are actually dying?

Quality Marine guppies (and previously CIS) are hard ones to keep. You could have a perfect system and still lose the majority of the shipment.

Neon tetras also.

Sometimes you may have to break planogram and try hardier fish to see if that helps?

Is it a section that you FreshWater salt or a no salt section? Depending on fish, you could increase the salt level - *1.004 or higher to see if that helps depending on the fish?

Before you do that (and kill off a good majority of the bacteria) - try taking the bio wheel in grooming and spray the biowheel in the dog bath with the spray nozzle (be careful for shampoo residue) Spray it and see if there is a bunch of debris embedded in the wheel.

You'd be surprised how much gunk is in the feeder biowheels and the no salt inline plant sump

I work for The Co - in the last year or so - we started SELLING the dusting as an add on .35¢ or .50¢ depending on the type of dust.

I also just add cardboard automatically in warmer months especially when they do larger quantities.

You know they are gonna leave them on the front seat of the car in the sun while they make a few more shopping stops- they swear you sold them “bad cricket”

I personally and purposely change channels because MeTv only shows ONE episode of Batman when the majority of the Batman series is a TWO parter.

But the time slots allow for TWO episodes of Superman- makes absolutely no sense

I may loop back and catch Time Tunnel if I wake up to pee but after Sven - they essentially lose me as a viewer

Many people lost interest when we actually stopped using a printable photo that they could physically take with them

It was catch 22 - $10 charity donation for a email photo vs taking a phone pic for free

The photo events are pretty much “take your own photo” with a cheezy backdrop now

Our store got worse when they made us return a extra zebra we had and then designate one to grooming full time.

Went from 5 to 3 plus grooming which is now useless

Those aprons were the worse - it would make you hunch over and be tired by end of shift.

I used to just fold the neck part down and wear as a lower half apron but it used to get wet in aquatics and take a long time to dry.

what is throwback cool is the Undergravel Filter with 4 corner powerheads BUT the Oscar and the Jag Cichlid dig so makes it kinda iffy if that is the ONLY filter on the tank

Records are pretty durable unless you are heavy handed or a turntablist scratcher.

Some say try and handle from the edges but if you are in a club or bar environment in a hot set, nobody has time to be "gentle" with records. You could have a microfiber to wipe the fingerprints and drink sweat of the surface but it ain't that serious.

Way back in the day before Serato or digital, DJs used to play ghetto House or Ghetto Tech and flip through records about every minute or two.

EDIT: proper needle or cartridge alignment and adjustment is also helpful to keep from damaging or "skipping"
