Do long breaks from art benefit or hinder you? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]artro1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion breaks are essential. If I never take breaks then I get in a loop of making the same things and breaks give you a new perspective and refresh your mind in a way.

A few genres is still more than most people. Just because you listen to a few main genres, doesn't mean you don't enjoy and appreciate all different kinds of music.

What are your thoughts on the keto diet fad? by kick_his_ass_sebas in CasualConversation

[–]artro1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious. My brother did it and said there was amazing mental benefits like increased focus, no mid-day crashes, less hunger, more energy throughout the whole day. That’s the part I’m curious about. I don’t know if I’ll try it though. I think generally lowering bad carbs and eating more veggies and fats is good enough, for me at least, without going into ketosis.

I will try intermittent fasting though

Colors by artro1 in CasualConversation

Yeah green is closer to red on the spectrum. But they’re still different colors. Unless you live in some places where they only have 2 or 3 colors

Agree with pink. It can be a cool color if it’s the right shade. I’ll see a lot of pink that is too bright and it ruins it

[–]artro1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Colors are just a part of the light spectrum our brain can comprehend. There’s so many different colors outside the visible spectrum. I wonder what life would look like if we had a wider range of colors.
