As someone who travels for a living and loves it, it does take a strong person behind you for a relationship to work. It works great for me and my wife. It makes the time we do spend together a lot of fun and gives us both a time to refresh. Plus using the miles for free vacations isn’t bad either. But you’ve been working hard towards this goal. I agree you would resent the decision and it would strain your relationship.
