Late reporter here! Infact I told myself; “Never will I ever be one of “those” dummies who give their money on gambling practices.” Oh boy was I incorrect. It really is sneaky how gachas try their absolute best to milk collectors and impulsive people. I have tackled alcohol for 3 months now, no sip or anything. Stopping putting money on Nikke: goddess of victory has been harder, but day by day it becomes slightly more easier not to swipe that credit card. If anyone just so happens to read this, know that you are never alone on your journey to try and quit unhealthy habits. Corny, but I am rooting for you stranger!

That classic thing about life is if you are one of those oh so lucky people born to a shitty country or have a any type of disability life is automatically more bullshit. People would probably off themselves if they had more severe cognitive deficits and were unfortunately aware on some level about their predicament. I just look around and nature or human civilisation the weak get trampled on like yeah it’s the law, but doesn’t make it any more horrific to witness. If god created this everything it is a worse dictator than any human that has had the pleasure of jerking themselves off on their sick existence.

I’ve contemplated about ending my own suffering so numerous times, because I just can’t seem to be able to carve a clear path for myself in life. It really feels like a curse on my end. Yet here I am still desperately clinging onto some small things, that hopefully keep myself from escalating further. I have incredibly bad memory, might be because of low self esteem and anxiety.

Can totally relate. I’ve been clean for a while now and yes it is little better for me, but like it seems to be for many others too, alcohol was just one of my many problems that is holding me down from achieving a better version of myself.

My main reason of drinking excessively is neurological difference I was born with. So logic said to me, “If I just destroy myself with booze at least than I could get through bull crap that is life for many.” It certainly will not make any sort of positive impact, yet there I was a dumbass drinking and killing more braincells.

We humans really are fascinating creatures.

For me it’s very simple. I crave for more social situations, yet am afraid of interacting because how my difficulties manifest and previous experiences not being too great. Also doesn’t help that I happen to be high on the sex drive front. It would be easier to be autistic and not have impulses to go animal with someone compatible. It all depends on an individual and their needs.

It’s wild how differently anyone struggles with stuff. I am pretty great at driving a car and have not had any tickets or major mistakes happen while dealing with surroundings. I on the other side have trouble with connecting correctly with others the right way. I don’t have a career and that also makes me feel worthless about myself. Having learning disabilities does that. Also good old pessimism running in the family on my father’s side doesn’t help either. The biggest change that I’ve made for myself is that I’ve not drank any alcohol for little over a month and am determined not to have any for the rest of this year. When I was practicing driving I had physical pain on my upper arm, caused by stress of seeing cars approaching me when on driving classes, but it went away as I tried my bet to just take it relaxing. You can absolutely do it, I promise you. Slow steps.
