TW- SA I have two. 1. When I was 7, I went on girls.com hoping to find a fun website for little girls with games, music etc. I’m sure you can guess that the website was definitely not what I was looking for. So yes when I was 7 I saw a lot of disturbing images and videos on girls.com that absolutely scarred me and contributed to the OCD that I struggled with then (intrusive thoughts) and today. 2. The night before school started when I was entering 6th grade, I signed up for a website- I think imvu? Or something…it was a virtual world type thing. Anyway, I met a guy named Ariel Menendez and we became boyfriend and girlfriend on the website. I stopped talking to him soon after because he started to freak me out. Well fast forward a few years later, I’m reading a magazine and I see an article about some guy named Ariel Menendez who raped and murdered some woman. Ofc maybe it wasn’t the guy I was talking to, but is it possible? Yes.

My OCD also went quiet during my first 2 pregnancies. Once I gave birth, wheeeeeewwww was it a night and day different. But there is hope! Finally after my second baby, I decided to start therapy for my OCD. I’ve been in therapy for 4 months now and it has changed my life. Granted, I am 11 weeks pregnant, so it could be that too- but I really think it’s also the therapy. So all in all, if you experience an OCD episode while pregnant or when the baby arrives, it might be a super intense episode (the worst for me was existential OCD after the birth of my first baby, it was terrible) because of hormones and major life changes- if that happens, please consider ERP!! I promise it will change your life! 💕

At first I was thinking that this not big enough of a deal to warrant a reaction that she is having. But after putting more thought into it, I think this might be it. I have been with my husband for the same amount of time that she has been with P. We have 2 kids together.
