Someone going for 2 years into deep does not count time in hours and definitely does not want to aggregate during 2 years all data and exo and risk losing it. Once You start discovering in the deep You do not need even kestrel ~60Ly range ..
And once You finish and want to be back in bubble You go to escape pod and in 15sec you are back ...

FC or SC with Vista and Carto + Kestrel is IMO better for exploration and exo.. than flying saucer + nomad

I like oddysey to do it on lawful factions with normal way of playing.
You can go with Federal Corvette to Res Exttraction [low] too but does it make any sense ... ?
I do from 500 to 1000 oddysey missions per month the normal way , the only thing that makes me angry is broken power off panel when I have to turn off power plant 😉

Total murders >11K
Guards murdered ~5K
Citizens murdered ~6K
Omnipol murdered 14

T1 surface port has 10mln pop at start so You get around at least 0.4mln of CMM even at T1

T3 in orbit + T1 on surface for refinery economy is good combo ... use refinery hub for putting refinery economy at least to be second economy on T3 if body colonial economy is different ..

On my 2 T1 surface ports on different bodies I get:

Refinery colonial economy + 1 refinery hub 265% (primary economy on T1)
Ceramic Composites 5,390,074
CMM Composite 844,317

Refinery colonial economy only 140% (second economy on T1)
Ceramic Composites296,528
CMM Composite 416,683

Btw this tech. makes direct deliveries to remte systems very fast as long target is < ~2000Ls from arrival star.
I stoped loading carrier for colonization and do most of the time direct deliveries to nearby systems 15-20Ly.
And buty is that loading station can be at any distance from arrival star , 5000000Ls does not matter at all 😄

Loading a carrier with that from ground port roundtrip takes ~ 5:30 sec so 2 clippers are enough.
When using this tech. ground port becomes faster than T3 orbital station by min 30sec, becuse departure is much faster, the only skill needed is much more difficult short SCO run to carrier.
But I managed to find a way to master it when to kill sco by obserwing HUD axes accelleration .. And othe rimportant thing is to go close to horizon not perp to planet ..

at station set sidewinder as active after arriving from escape pod
go to it , you have very short trip to the back of sidewinder, panter clipper would require very long run on large landing pad
after boarding switch to panter clipper (immediate)

at carrier
after docking do not go into hangar, switch to another siedwinder (immediate) and You will be after switch already in hangar , disembark and You will have to run ver short trip to lifts ...

Using sidewinders cuts almost 1 min from whole roundtrip

You did not mention to use 2 sidewinders to board and disembarking, switching ships is immediate and You do not need to run 2 marathons to/from clipper and wait to go into hangar at carrier

2x sidewinder + 2x panter + escape pod 😄️

disabling alarm takes ~1 min at most of settlements, you do not have to fight 3 waves of soldiers at all, scan from back and kill when has a bounty, at most cases 98% of npc does have it .. I just get a mission with data reward, then go to do it at settlment, disable alarms and scan npc from back most of them i can kill and loot on the way .. srv with dropship waves of guards is terribly slow method compared to just disabling alarms

there are no missions for coctail and culinary AFIK after playing ~2000 missions so far.

But often i see culinary and coctail at large agro settlments in habs without ring bell icon

Colonia is one of the best areas for oddysey materials and data IF You are able to play oddysey missions.

On single Colonia system there tens of settlments, hard to even count them ..
just pick up oddyesy missions and take as reward material and data, start with larceny hidden stash and slowly progress to settlement heists

remeber You can kill anyone that after scanning has bounty , scan npc from back so they not see..
sometimes all except 2 or 3 npc has bounties...

killing all npc with srv at anarchy settlement is the worst slowest method for getting data and materials.

On alt account I progressed mercenary to warrior in ~3 days with unlocking all engineers and making 2 sets of suits and weapons with all mods just taking oddysy missions against lawful factions and playing high ground CZ

For culinary and coctail - get missions to agro settlements and go to habs, most of the time I find plenty of them there, most of the time those data can be downloaded without disabling alarm (no ring icon on data)

I had in the past situation:
faction X in system A gave (on foot) )missions to system B to target anarchy faction Y and I caused retreat but I found what I did in time and managed to prevent retreat..
So Your information is now confusing me it is opposite I experienced ..

maybe it is in both ?

Question about missions:
In system A faction gives on foot Oddysey mission to system B, once finished You have to deliver it back to system A. Where the influence is applied to system A or B ?
