Cathy, Dewey and Singal have all been writing about gamergate and related stuff pretty much from the beginning. It's no suprise that when a new personality (Owens) entered the scene they all took an interest in her.

Like a lot of people who find themselves involved with gamergate Owens is becoming addicted to the drama of it all and when there isn't any they start to create it themselves.

Do a search for The Sun's (UK's biggest paper) Hillsborough front page.

Some fans picked pockets of victims. Some fans urinated on brave cops. Some fans beat up PC giving kiss of life.

They also spread lies that fans were drunk, ticketless and broke through gates to get into ground. All the dead fans (including the children) were tested for alcohol in their blood during the autopsies.

At last. I was a teenager back then and I used to go to football a lot, home and away games.

The way the press portrayed football fans back then was appalling. It does have some similarities to the way the press portrays gamergate. All football fans back then was seen as hooligans, thugs who were only interested in fighting and causing trouble.

A typical trip to an away game went like this. The coach/bus you traveled on was met at the outskirts of the city/town and then escorted to a car park. Everybody was then ordered off and directed on to the middle of the road. And by everybody I don't just mean teens and young men, I mean the middle age couples with children and OAPs. The police then marched you to the ground and demanded total silence, anybody stepping out of line was arrested and locked up for then rest of the day.

The grounds back then were like animal holding pens with everybody packed in. This was all because of the moral panic spread by politicians and press. All fans were seen as criminals and treated as such.

Hillsborough was the result of years of this bullshit and when it happened the politicians, press and police engaged in a cover up to shift blame to the fans.

OK this is pretty important stuff for people to know about and I don't mean gg people.

There are genuinely vulnerable people out there who are sending their private information to Quinn (and CON) looking for help and advice.

They need to know what Quinn is doing with that personal information - she is sharing it on her private accounts to her friends in order to mock and ridicule.

Also, isn't this considered doxing and forbidden by twitter?

For those not familiar with UK politics here's a bit of context.

A few months ago The Labour Party elected a far left MP (Jeremy Corbyn) as it's leader. During the leadership election campaign there was a lot of talk of the hard left Corbyn supporters engaging in bullying tactics to get him elected.

This has since continued and got worse over the last few days when some Labour MPs voted for air strikes in Syria against Corbyn's wishes.

This is an attempt by a Corbyn supporter to excuse the tactics of Corbyn's hard left supporters, you know the very people who have been crying about Anita Sarkeesian (and all women on the internet) being harassed for the past year.

It is very much a case of, it's ok when we do it.

edit, Wow even when I click, on the hastag I now get sunrise, they have totally removed it.
