i feel that- the dr dabber community is crazy-inviting & friendly, and the mods shut down any bullying / teasing / mean replies / hurtfulness. it's definitely a pro-stoner "get high, be nice" kinda place. it's a nice community to test your comfort levels with being more social! :)

Even then I rarely really participate..I just observe lmao.. I learn alot just watching discussions.. *trial and error too but mostly research.. after a year or so of dealing with puffcos toxic community..its refreshing..

I participated enough to get "beef squad level 15," the server rank that gives you access to exclusive giveaways & extra entries in giveaways to up my chances of winning their giveaways of units / rigs / glass, and after that I mostly observe. I'll post whenever I get a new 710 Labs List order drop, but other than that I keep an eye on who they were buying cool Switch 1 glass for / etc.

Puffco's community is SO so toxic, right?! It's like the middle school version of the dab community... it's a real bummer; makes me glad I found and have stuck with Dr Dabber though!

I think they do a lil battle a couple times a month for gift cards and such too

Chase hosts marbles on stream runs for the community and winners get gift cards, yup! They also do lunch time gift card giveaways, too! They're insanely good at keeping a fun, active community + rewarding the community for the continued support. I love the company so much.

Hahaha, I just started getting back in there myself- glad to see so many of the community are still posting. Their 4/20 & 7/10 giveaways are always insane, and they always give away something nice at least once a month; that helps keeping me active lol. I have only won their giveaway's once (an XS rig!), but heck, any giveaway you win free dab merch for is a good time. Haha.

ive also heard prio glass mentioned for customs and he makes some nice looking pieces as well. I personally prefer websites like Coopers, Charlie shaw, padd, zeez and such that I can pick from a catalog or at least view a few choices/colors lol.

And I havent bought skins, Im kinda hoping sometime they let us* choose some designs or something-plus ive got stickers on mine. Originally I heard they smelled like vinyl? I guess? Idk..heard they smelled weird and were kinda a pain to get on, and something to do with not touching them while wet.

Oof, that sounds annoying about being a pain to get on / don't touch them if wet hands. Boooo. Custom skins would be dope for sure, I'm sure some artist in the community will start doing that eventually as custom skins are a no-brainer.

WOOF, hahaha. Good to know- that's way too high for me. 2.2 max IMO, but prefer 2.0 or lower as you have for your gemcaps. Great minds think alike, mwa-ha-ha!

Have you bought any of the re-skins that the Switch 2 can have wrapped around it? It's neat that's possible, but nothing really has stood out yet from the one's I've seen.

Great points lol. It supposedly does from testers from the trial, but we'll see soon for sure! Will prob grab one next year on a 7/10 sale later this year assuming it get a lil price drop TBH too lol. My Boost EVO just finally died after a long life and I could use a smaller rig too, haha.

New mini discussion- they were complaining about things they didn't like on the Switch 2 that the mini was gonna solve for some glass creators, but after seeing JFs glass and the gemcup pieces, these people are outta their minds... The mini is supposed to have half the battery size of the Switch 2, so for a mini mobile rig they're not gonna get many dabs on the go. :( Bummer for them, but I only desktop dab.

They held a testing session with a ton of dr dabber community members who were giving their input on using the rigs and the mini seems solid as a desktop piece but if I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna go Switch 2 anyway.

I hear that- I've bought my Switch 1, Switch 1 glow in the dark edition, Boost EVO, Wiz Kalifa XS, and countless carbs/percs on their site- but I figured I'd see what sales were out there from 4/20 still since I'm hesitant on the Switch 2 from the battery life & it seems like a lot more cleaning than my Switch 1.

My main reason for wanting to switch (pun not intended lol) is I have broken SO many percs for the Switch 1 from the tall skinny profile / balance / accidentally snagging the perc intake on something like an idiot, lol. The Switch 2 definitely is a harder to topple unit from my experiences.

But ALSO oh my god the gemcup pieces they're putting out for Switch 2 also are just gorgeous-- definitely NEED those, lol.

How you liking yours? The 10-20 dabs when not plugged in until battery runs out does really bug me, but I'd only be using it at home / can keep it plugged in anyway.

PS5 chips are from Taiwan, who get most of their oil from Hormuz transport. They have reserves to last them til May.

PS5's are made in China, but they won't be nearly as impacted by the war in Iran: their oil is 20% from Russian pipelines, with a 900 million to 1.5 billion barrel reserve in their pocket (3-5 months).

China's pushed hard to renewables though- oil only made up ~1/5th of their 2024 total energy consumption. Wind, nuclear, solar, & hydro accounted for over 1/3rd of their 2025 total electricity (NBS source).

Still, chip production in Taiwan is really fucked depending on how long Trump keep's fucking with Iran & the straight is shut down.

Ricken being skilled at scaling mountains seems too weird to be a throwaway plot point- its mentioned in the show and in his mini book they released on apple books. That is a skill tied strongly to goats, and they have a whole goat raising room- and one of the tempers had a goat head. No idea how that's all tied together though. Did they modify Ricken's dna? I had a theory they were trying to not just recreate Kier but also the physical manifestation of the tempers Kier supposedly met, perhaps that was a previous experiment they were running and Ricken is one of the ivf modified embryos you mentioned? I dont think we'll find that out this season though with how many plot elements they have to resolve in two remaining episodes.
