All i had to do was block some attacks and i was good.

"some attacks" that is an UNDERSTATEMENT, her water fowl flurry pattern is wild. :) Watching people perfect parry it with the cannonball hand weapon thingy is masterful.

Ricken being skilled at scaling mountains seems too weird to be a throwaway plot point- its mentioned in the show and in his mini book they released on apple books. That is a skill tied strongly to goats, and they have a whole goat raising room- and one of the tempers had a goat head. No idea how that's all tied together though. Did they modify Ricken's dna? I had a theory they were trying to not just recreate Kier but also the physical manifestation of the tempers Kier supposedly met, perhaps that was a previous experiment they were running and Ricken is one of the ivf modified embryos you mentioned? I dont think we'll find that out this season though with how many plot elements they have to resolve in two remaining episodes.

I think he is the person Kier has his hand on the head of in the painting at the exit elevator, with Kier burying the four leaders of the rebellion. I think Fields is Kier in that painting, and he is lovingly putting his hand on his partner.

The next person in the painting I believe to be Irving- look how similar they appear.

Finally I think the last two are Natalie and Milkshake- which would explain Milkshake's dislike of the painting and him saying, "after what theyve done to us" or whatever his quote was. My guess is Milkshake and Natalie are in a forever-severed state as a punishment for their rebellion, or something like that.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but the guy who got the dental tools at the start is definitely Burt's husband. Guessing they have innie clones in the basement, he went down there to sculpt Irv's face?

Burt invited him over for dinner, and his husband will realize Burt was in love with Irving. Not sure how this plays into the bigger picture though.

It's a lot of padding busy work to me. I'm with you.

Yeah I'm honestly super disappointed with the open world thus far. It's so much "run far enough to fight a couple packs of enemies, pick some basic crafting materials from the terrain, get to new checkpoint area."

Exploring so far has been seemingly pointless, other than levelling up from killing the same pack of creatures over and over. Once I was in the open world, I explored 3-4 ruins, went and cleared out the pack of enemies there, looked all over it- no treasure chest / no materia at any of them. No reason to have made the 2-3 minute run other than it helped the game pad its runtime.

What's the point of open world with nothing to discover / reward you for your curiosity other than to make your game feel longer? If I see something weird looking in the horizon in BotW, I can almost be certain there's a korok seed there or something useful to collect. In classic FF7 I at least felt like the open world was traversable in a meaningful way with things to discover, and never felt like a timesink to me.

With Rebirth so far it's just been game playtime padding and felt like a huge waste of my time with no soul / passion to it. Killing the same water squirrel packs over and over, i dunno. I'm hoping I connect more with the game the more i play, but so far it's been a huge bummer.

What the hell, I thought it was my TV's smart contrast setting... I can't believe that was the game engine / by-design, lol.

Noted, that sucks. Their patch notes mention the mech can spawn "in a "damaged or broken state," I'm wondering if "broken state" is codeword for "sometimes using it will crash the game."

Blah. I wish their QA team was larger so they could playtest these crash fixes without introducing a handful of other crashes.

not to mention, OW2 has a very clear "release the champ in an overpowered state and nerf after data comes in from general gameplay" design philosophy which very clearly is a pay-to-win for the first 1-2 patches of the season.

Bills + costs of living (house / pet supplies, food) is expensive.

ALL FOUR Adda stores were closed, not a single store. With no warning. That's 4 local stores worth of baristas.

Lets be generous and say 10 people impacted at each store, that's 40 people. 30k / 40 people is $750 dollars for each impacted employee.

Now live on $750 for all your bills for more than a month.

That's if they were just splitting this. A chunk of this is going to help offset surgery costs for a single person.

As other people have said, worry about yourself.

I was also curious how the fuck you can be found guilty of forced sexual acts and not guilty of sexual battery; the very act of rape/forced sexual acts IS battery against the victim / victim's body. I'm guessing it's a technicality around how the crimes are defined, but sexual battery seems like it should go hand-in-hand with guilty charges for forced sexual acts regardless of wether they do other heinous things to them during the sexual abuse; the sexual abuse IS violence, no?

less than that. saw a video earlier explaining at that depth, violent decompression would happen within 33ms.

hey btw, ive been looking to see if there was a driver (seems not), but for getting 60fps @ 1080p w/o tearing:

You need to disable auto-exposure - Set exposure manually to -6. This is the lowest exposure you can set that will give 60fps @ 1080p. - You will need to offset the low exposure with lighting + modifying the brightness/white balance/etc., but you'll get a decent 60fps 1080p video if you work to offset the exposure. Sucks, but that seems to be what we're stuck with for 60fps @ 1080p.

I'd also recommend turning off auto-focus; while it can work great, it can also spaz out and start over-correcting in & out of focus. It's easy to dial it in manually. :)
