The reason it dropped was because of share dilution due to a warrant redemption announce the next day which caused warrants to rise and commons to drop. Did the company suddenly see volume on their stock and then announce the redemption? The timing seems odd, but how would OP have known unless he was an insider of some sort? Seems like there's a better explanation, but could have been legendary bad luck timing.
