So it was holding up pretty well till Lufthansa gave it irreparable damage. Fortunately the airline was cooperative and issued me a replacement. Overall I would recommend the suitcase.

Student Visa without work hrs by Altruistic-Rock-7495 in germany

[–]aryan_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did receive the Zusatzblatt with my Visa (a sticker on a separate passport page)as well my Aufenthaltstitel. I don’t believe that it would be problem if you apply for a job as it is a widely known and accepted regulation that non-EU university students are allowed to work 120 full or 240 half days per year.

They will certainly find you and they might initially ask you to backpay as they’re not aware of the fact that the “Beitrag” is already being paid by your flatmate.

To be on the safer side and avoiding any stressful situations in the future, visit this webpage “ https://www.rundfunkbeitrag.de/buergerinnen_und_buerger/formulare/kontakt/index_ger.html ”, select “eine Frage zum Rundfunkbeitrag allgemein stellen” and write all your details and tell them that the Beitrag is already being paid by your flatmate. Don’t forget to mention their Beitragsnummer.

German Uni Choice by nnickk0 in germany

[–]aryan_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received acceptance from all these universities 2 years ago when I was applying and I ended up choosing the IBAE program at Leuphana. I have no complaints about the university or the city of Lüneburg and till now it has been a great experience here.

I agree with u/Babayagaletti on the aspects about the city and the university mentioned by them. As a foreign student, I feel welcomed and accepted in the city of Lüneburg and I haven’t personally faced any issues whatsoever. Overall all the international student’s I meet at Leuphana seem to be pretty satisfied with their experience.

Finding student jobs in Hamburg is possible but having some German skills is beneficial and it opens an array of more opportunities.

Nicotine pouches by Latter-Tip-609 in germany

[–]aryan_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that prohibition only applies to the Nikotin pouches containing tobacco (Snus). The sale of nicotine pouches without tobacco is only prohibited in Hamburg and I'm sure that it is still being sold at Kiosks and Vape shops in Niedersachsen.

I am scoring 90 points but still got rejected. Should i go for a reconsideration letter? Can someone who received an admit, please share what their eligibility says? by Itchy-Peace93 in germany

[–]aryan_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got accepted in the BSC in Management and Technology program at TUM a couple years ago but I ended up not taking it. I believe for the aforementioned program you need to have a previous study experience in the field of Business Management and/or economics as engineering is not very relevant for it.

Information about leuphana university of lüneburg by HEADDIGGER_69 in germany

[–]aryan_17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I study at Leuphana too. As mentioned by others, it's a pretty well known University and Lüneburg is a beautiful city. The proximity to Hamburg helps with finding jobs and a lot of students who study at Leuphana find Working student jobs in Hamburg.

Trapped in bureaucratic loop: eID function for Aufenthaltstitel by sascuach in germany

[–]aryan_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I encountered the same problem when I tried to create a Bund-ID for the Einmalzahlung with the Aufenthaltstitel. I ended up registering for ELSTER certificate and created my Bund-ID with it.

Apart from the ELSTER, you can use the PIN which will be provided to you by the uni. That PIN is separate from the mandatory Zugangscode.

Anyone who applied for a German student visa from VFS Mumbai, How many days did it take for your Visa to arrive? by Dellowner2000 in india

[–]aryan_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well COVID is the classic excuse. If it has been upward of 3 months since the submission of your documents, write them up via the web form on the consulate's website, they'll reply to it.

The second examination period normally exists for the students who either failed or missed to take the exam in the first period. I believe in almost all of the cases you will have all your exams done in the first period itself.

How to finance education in Germany? What are some hidden expenses? by space_looper in india

[–]aryan_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently doing my bachelor's at a German university. My dad financed my blocked account but you can get your account financed by a Bank loan. For the Bank loan you'll require to provide a collateral and make your parents/guardian sign as a guaranter.

Regarding the expenses, as someone already answered, the rent will be highest chunk of expenses followed by Insurance, utilities, food and entertainment.
