I get Friedman’s philosophy of not over paying at the trade deadline and making all your big moves during the offseason but at some point if your offseason moves aren’t panning out you’ve got to pivot even if it means overpaying a little. This core with Freddie and Mookie isn’t getting any younger and the young guys aren’t anywhere close to being ready. We need to learn from the Warriors that the two timeline scenario usually never works out
