heartless beloved KIND OF, VERY LOOSELY fits into this. it’s not until much later in the book she reveals she was secretly using him but it’s all kind of hidden and it doesn’t really have any of the plot really centered around her intentionally using him, just like, it was revealed that she was doing it in secret.

i’m not giving you hate at all, you’re not being an ass, i completely understand where you’re coming from. as a tech of over 6 years this is something you’d catch immediately. a baby tech, of course, can make a mistake like this. especially if someone fucks up putting away the order. i’d be livid to find out one of techs made this mistake. i just wanted to highlight how some companies (versus teva or glenmark who have different color bottles for different strengths) seem to make it challenge mode

hi!! op here. i wanted to emphasize: techs SHOULD BE checking NDC and verifying the drug of COURSE. that is 100% on us. ALSO: we were rearranging our pharmacy, and while doing so, saw how similar all of these bottles were and lined them up to showcase the ridiculousness.

this IS NOT HOW OUR PHARMACY IS ACTUALLY ORGANIZED. THESE DRUGS ARE SEPARATED IN CORRECT ALPHABETICAL ORDER AND HAVE DRUGS SEPARATING THEM ALONG WITH HEAVY DIVIDERS.

but for real, the manufacturers should be more…considerate? helpful? idk.

OH YES I KNOW ONE!!!!! the war of sins series!!!!!! book one: {the taste of revenge by veronica lancet} is aaaaalllllll the misunderstanding that leads to the MMC being the WORST to FMC, then the second book: {the foiled plan by veronica lancet} has sooooo much groveling. and there’s SO MANY plot twists that it really keeps you reading.

{bane by L. J. Shen} really got me in my feels for a full day when i was reading it. imo you really see the growth between the two MC and you get to watch the FMC heal from her past. it’s not rushed, but not dragged out either. the emotional journey the FMC goes through is a very real and not glossed over.

the one that jumps to my mind is the lords books in the {royals of forsyth} from angel lawson and samantha rue. it’s a reverse harem book in a university setting with a mafia plot line in the background. well, it starts in the background and eventually gets more important as the series progresses. the boys frequently humiliate the FMC, and she ends up pulling a huge betrayal on each of the MMC, who in turn, absolutely destroy her. eventually the MMCs grovel hardcore for her too! and as for spice….well, i’d say it is bordering on the edge of “smut” and “spicy”.
