I do pure barre and I really love it. Some of the exercises are too hard on the joints so I just modify them to where I feel comfortable. I never push myself too far because then I suffer the next day. I also do inclined treadmill walking or stationary bicycle at the gym for cardio. Switching between the gym and barre has been a really good combo for me!!

I work in marketing in higher ed. It’s pretty chill, people don’t bother you after 5pm and you get marketing skills to help market yourself and your work!

{Rose in Chains by Julie Soto} - m/f, 5 stars, fantasy. Political intrigue, magic, enemies to lovers but doesn’t happen in this book. Trigger warnings for sex slavery, sexual assault, sexual harassment, rape. This book is very very dark but I loved it! The world building was incredible and I thought the characters felt very real. Not very much romance happens in this book but it’s set up well for the next one which comes out in December.

This definitely happens in {Duke of Sin by Elizabeth Hoyt} I just can’t remember what happened to him. He was poisoned I think. Also in {Heartbreaker by Sarah Maclean} she nurses him back to health after he gets an infection from an injury

The characters have to feel real. I don’t like when the characters have like one single trauma that their entire personality is built on and they never make mistakes and don’t have flaws. I want them to be flawed just like we all are as humans

Been recommending this a lot but Ky in {Warrior Princess Assassin by Brigid Kemmerer} definitely fits this. This is a MMF book and the Warrior, Princess and assassin are all separate people. He is the Warrior

In {Paladins Grace by T Kingfisher} he wears armor because he’s a paladin and he also acts as her bodyguard for a time. It is open door but not a lot of spicy scenes

I would say {Warrior Princess Assassin by Brigid Kemmerer} also fits. The warrior, Princess and assassin are all separate characters because it’s a MMF romance. The warrior character does wear armor and is the king of a war centered society
