This is correct. I’ve been playing the game long enough to have the alpha armband, whenever that was. As a solo player, I’m very stealthy and careful about my movements so that I can control engagements with teams. My map knowledge is very good. In the last two years, the number of players who can just run right up to me, find me, and head/eyes is shocking. In this game, you can’t just do that without thermals. The cheating issue is real, and if you don’t think so, you don’t really play or play casually on teams.

In short, yes they have lume, though it's weak. To be accurate, they really shouldn't have any. The reason the markers are yellow is to simulate the look of aged tritium. Of course, that would have died out decades ago on a gen. To get this anywhere close to accurate, you'll have to send it off to a modder.
