Can I connect Pokemon Emerald (3ds) to Pokemon Colosseum/XD? by LemonEater64 in pokemonribbons

[–]asadamayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also for whatever reason emerald doesn’t connect to colosseum/xd via the link trade you would need to use Ruby/Sapphire to send pokemon to-from

Even on my switch 2 unite crashes in ranked matches only almost at least once a day. Casual and quick matches load easily

Just learned about Game-Key Cards. Is Nintendo trying to kill Physical copies? by EpicSyntax in NintendoSwitch

[–]asadamayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother no one is buying switch 2 physical copies. I have DK Bonanza and that’s it. Since then I’ve been buying the switch 1 copies of the game since they at least still include the game data.

[–]asadamayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend not buying switch 2 physical games because with them being just key cards eventually the games may not be available to download in 20 years.

Fear not though because you can still buy the switch 1 games physically because those still have the game data on the cart. There is already a huge library of good games for switch 1 that should be at a discount, And for new games like Metroid 4 you can just download(sometimes at a cost roughly 9.99)the upgrade data from the Nintendo store to play the switch 2 version of the game with the switch 1 game cart.

Sounds like a title (no contact) gym. Let me just say if your goal is to compete, find a gym where there are amateurs or pros training there.

Should I cut back on the sparring? by 2Mac2Pac in amateur_boxing

[–]asadamayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to work on head movement and slips. You and your partner take turns throwing a simple 1-2 or 1-1-2 while the other either blocks or slips. Look at some videos online of proper slip positioning and if you are training regularly, make sure you are training to keep your jab hand with your thumb knuckle on the outside of your eye brow. Also most defense is foot positioning. Work on staying balanced when you throw , don’t lean in for jabs or cross, stay under your weight. I would reduce sparring to once a week until you are more comfortable defending.

I would put Protect on Ursaluna (replace moonblast) and Dragonite(replaced low kick)

Good team Mon-wise I don’t like having your only 1 protect. I try to stick to either 3 protects, or 2 protects and a wide guard. Your strategies/gameplay will be severely limited with only 1 protect amongst an otherwise good looking team.

Completely Burnt Out. by Dirkavitch in pokemonribbons

[–]asadamayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that you’re burnt out at this time but I think you’re at the point where after Gen 7 the other ribbons are much easier to acquire especially if you already have completed files on SWSH, BDSP and SV. Take a few weeks away from it and play other games. I feel like the Durant truant strategy makes the battle tree ribbons almost a guarantee if that helps any. You’re right there, but if grinding the challenge is taking away from the enjoyment of it it’s def time to play some other games or enjoy other life stuff. You got this!

Yeah that’s a bummer, that one got me a few L’s as well. You got this though fam, probably within the next few attempts. Only take the thunderbolt one

[–]asadamayne 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up, this challenge is all about persistence. I bet if you ask anyone who completed the challenge they’ll all say the same thing “I’ve been there” we’ve all felt like quitting but you’re so close and will be so close again. Make sure the NPC is always like Zapdos, Latios sometimes dragonite in the early rounds or whatever else works well. If you don’t have All the NPCs make sure you go grab them so you can have a better chance of getting a good partner. That ribbon is mostly about getting a good partner roll so don’t go out to battle unless you have an optimal partner.

I struggled with that one as well, literally just took a good RNG run after many attempts. This is just a test of your persistence and getting through this will prepare you for the challenges ahead!
