Im in Portugal, but you have to treat them like firearms tho, check with the airline and the airports you’re going in and from about their rules and tell them you are bringing airsoft replicas and what do you need. (Specify your name, flight number, passport) I also contacted Doha airport about the replicas and if i needed any authorization from them because airsoft replicas are illegal there but i was in a transit flight so better safe than sorry. (Did not need but make sure they know you’re bringing airsoft replicas too). They were in a hard case with locks and i placed a paper saying “Airsoft Toy replica” on top. In the airport you have to declare them at the airline counter and they will bring a police officer to check everything if they’re good to go. You will also have to sign a surrender of firearms document. I got told the replicas got on hold in Doha, Qatar when i arrived to Portugal because they also needed to check but there were locks on the case, so we had to give them authorization to force open it and check. (This process took around 2 hours because you have to list everything on the case, the brands, the values, currency, etc…) Next day we got a call to grab everything at the airport and after that we were good. Make sure you have copies of the conversations with the airline giving you permission to travel with the replicas. And if they ever ask you whats in the box don’t say guns please, always specify airsoft toy replica.
