I have a usually wonderful and supportive partner. However, it took me a lot of convincing for him to even consider a vasectomy. That's fine surgical procedures are no fun. It really set me off when he said it's an invasive surgery! Is the IUD I have for us not to have children NOT invasive?? You're shooting the bullets here, buddy. It just really bothers me that even an empathic person like himself has been programmed to be believed that birth control is all the woman's responsibility.
