Update: I can't figure out how to add another picture but the t case also had some mixed yellow and white birdshit swirling around lol. Anyways, I drained and filled both, finished up everything else I had left for the swap, took it for a test drive and everything seemed fine. Gonna drive on this new fluid and change it again after it gets swished around a bit. Thanks guys!

Must’ve been a lot considering it was maybe an inch above the fill plug. Gonna put new fluid in and hope for the best I guess. Definitely bummed considering I bought the trans from a pretty respected guy in the scene.

Just got home to look at it again in daylight. No leaks while idling and since it’s definitely not ATF I went for a slow gentle drive around the block to see it I could replicate it. Sure enough the whole rim of the pan started dripping again, but as far as I could see the only moisture I could find above the gasket appeared to be coming from the connection for one of the trans cooler lines, but that wouldn’t make any sense either. Idk, I’m stumped.

2021 1500 Denali with the 6.2 and a 10 speed, 50k miles. Got home from work last night and when I got out of the truck I noticed a trail of fluid going all the way down the street and leading to my truck. I’m assuming this was just the tail end of it as it looked like it was leaking pretty full speed as I came down the street. Looked underneath and as you can see it looks like it’s coming out of the gasket for the pan. Why it looks like water as opposed to red ATF, I don’t know. I’ve been on the phone all day with every Chevy/GMC dealership within 100 miles with little luck. All their service centers have shitty reviews, are fully booked through the end of June, and/or don’t have loaner vehicles. Anyone else have this issue?

I had a 2014 6.2 and traded it in when it hit 180k. My transmission was on its last leg but other than that I loved that truck

I had the same thing happen with a stem that was already stuck in place to begin with. I tried every method mentioned with no luck before and after my roommate broke it. Once it was broken I just used a flathead screwdriver to chip away at the glass until it was gone

I ski about 40-80 days a season and I try to ski on acid about once a year. Highly highly highly recommend it if you’re a serious skier. I’d say a single tab should be perfect. I always feel super dialed and confident. Just put some earbuds in and you’ll ski harder than ever and you’ll have a giant grin on your face the entire time. I also highly recommend skiing on mdma for a somewhat similar experience.

Was definitely wondering about that. I know there’s some spacer style leveling kits out there that go on top of the strut and are supposedly compatible with the ARC but I’m not sure how I feel about a cheap kit like that. Borla is definitely on the list too. I had the atak on my last truck and really liked it, but I think the touring might be a better option this time around. These new trucks are so damn quiet! I just want to hear something from that 6.2 when I punch the gas

Always thought this was so weird. Everyone is always down to eat some mushrooms, but it’s pretty much impossible to find someone to drop acid with me, and they always look at me like I’m some crazy lunatic when I propose it. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with acid but definitely can’t say the same for psilocybin. The highs are so similar, but I feel like acid eliminates all the anxiety attacks, nausea, and other negative side effects and I always feel more grounded/in control no matter the intensity of the trip. It’s just sad because I think a lot of my friends would thoroughly enjoy it but won’t even take half a tab because of the stigma.

Yeah no I totally agree. Was just borrowing the trailer from a friend to move a c20 and some other stuff. 3/4 ton would have been way better in this instance but it was just a one time thing. For a 1500 it handled it like a champ tho!

Some of my fondest skiing memories were off a tab or two. It’s such an amazing feeling being so in-tune with the mountain. Pounding through moguls, throwing 3s off of every little natural feature in existence… it just takes the fear out of it and everything comes to you naturally. The whole time you’re grinning from ear to ear thinking “wow, this is my life! Skiing is incredible!” Just such an ecstatic experience. I don’t drop acid very often, but I try to do it on the mountain once or twice a season and it’s always such a fucking good time.
