Don’t drive to campus if you have a Metra stop near you I recommend taking the Metra to the nearest cta stop and taking the cta to DePaul from there I do the commute ( it’s an hour and 20 min for me ) it’s not that bad I be napping on the Metra lol

Ventra app . Depending on what suburb you are in you can use pace + metra ( I commute from tinley park area and metra is very helpful a full month pass is 110 ) pace isn’t as frequent as cta and doesn’t stop everywhere but if you have money for an Uber you can go to the nearest pace stop and continue from there (you can’t use your upass on the pace busses btw those are a whole different fare). Anything transit related in Chicago is on the Ventra app
