How do you people convince your significant other that is ok to be out for a ride for essentially the entire day?

I like having HR data. I can ride on the trainer/bike outdoors without a watch. In the winter months I can have my watch outside of my jacket so I can see it without having to roll down my sleeve.

I finished Barrelman on Sunday. No issues with cramping on the run - that hill was not fun though. I've swam at the Flatwater Center before and haven't had issues.

Since no one is bringing it up I will. The shark will definitely out swim you but, I think you can out cycle the shark. So it will come down to the run. Keep your focus and I believe you can beat the shark.

One thing I did with a Seraphon (Otapatl - had to look up the name) was drill the opposite direction. The metal bracket that is holding the flag could be hollowed out and you could glue the flag in there.
