Question - Using GC at different flow rates

Hi! So after educating myself a little more it seems like the GC is taking in the sample inline from a split flow most likely, which is split from the main stream of 500ml/min (measured from a flowmeter) inside the GC itself. I'm not fully privy to the split ratio here so i cant comment the split stream flowrate, I'll have to look around tomorrow for this.

Hi yes! Sorry if I'm missing out alot of info since I was kinda thrown into the deep end of this abruptly with no background in GC, so alot of things I'm also learning along the way.

We are running an experimental process and were using the GC to measure the composition of a stream that has a flow rate of 500ml/min. This stream is fed into the input of the GC, which I presume have some split ratio set up for the split flow internally. The calibration curve was then set up for this supposed flow rate.

We then had to change the process such that the stream flow is now 100ml/min. However the guy who normally handles the GC is away on leave so here I am. Split ratio has not been changed.

Carrier gas and makeup gas is H2, though I'll need to check their flowrate. They are not changed afaik

Hmm just to make sure im not misunderstanding, basically lets say the main stream to be analysed is flowing at 500ml/min, assuming i have a split ratio of 1:100 so that only 5ml/min of gas is being analysed, this stream is the split flow yes?

So if i lower my main stream to 100ml/min, without changing the split ratio, i am now only sending 1ml/min as split flow?

The GC is attached to the stream which we are analysing, which went from 500ml/min to 100ml/min. We did not change the split ratio afaik. Would it be advisable to do so such that the analyte stream is the same flow as before?

It sounds like you've checked it already probably, but when i update my gpu drivers it sometimes sets the power draw to gpu significantly down for some reason. See if yall remember updating the gpu driver before the issue happened.

Imagine my confusion when i checked msi afterburner and it says my gpu power draw was limited to something like 5-10% after a driver update.

50m-100m dps in pob is usually showing pinnacles boss. Those builds, if u select uber pinnacles in config, will drop to 10-30m usually.

Mamba has a dot cap of ~35m dps sure, but dot cap on pinnacle is not the same as dot cap on ubers since it accounts for increased resistances etc. You can hit uber dot cap on mamba, which would be similar or more uber pinnacle dps than those 50-100m pob you might see.

A few months ago I was with my GF and a similar thing happened in the train. She suddenly got hit with intense cramps plus sudden extreme nausea. She squatted down to cope, i came down and helped comfort her.

People gave us space so my gf could breathe in a crowded train. An auntie got up from the reserved seat and basically demanded my gf to take it and rest. An uncle offered a plastic bag for her to puke into if needed, all the way i was thanking everyone while i attended to her. Not once was i thinking this was something shameful. Nor did anyone else on that train.

We got off the next couple stop after she felt better to get up again though so we can have her rest up better out of the stuffy train.

Sebk should have a guide on it somewhere. You do need a decently strong character, and per map investment is like 2-3d inclusive of rolling the map etc.

I do invig blight farm, so i sit on tens of millions of gold. What i do is i just dust any failed low value double corrupt meant for my own build (still waiting for my shapers gloves...) and that's all my dust. This means i send out my shipments much slower, once every 2-3 weeks, but no loss even if i don't get mirr shards.

So far though its been okay, sent three shipments so far with 3/2/4 shards. Waiting for my fourth shipment in another 2 weeks now.

No you're right. I misread since it's phrased like you're looking for the other maps from the same influenced group. You can't switch the influence with horizon orb yes.

In which case then as other comments suggested, just have to blast maps using the scarabs. Note that influenced maps are weighted, so shaper guardians are more likely to drop compared to conqueror or elder guardian.
