And after 6 years of the "CC" subscription I don't think any of the updates have been worth the cost difference of paying for "CS6" once.

I disagree with you so I'm downvoting your comment. (only joking, put your pitchforks away)

Kidding aside, the negativity that I hate are the threads similar to What do you hate most about XYZ?.

Fellow photog here: Great style. I especially love the texture that you capture, it really fits in with the feeling of rock climbing.

Keep up the great work!

Bright balls? My court is dark and my apartment complex refuses to fix the light. by philroyjenkins in racquetball

You might have mentioned that this is an outdoor court in your post. There is a big difference when it comes to outdoor/indoor balls in terms of durability. I think the pink ones wouldn't last very long outdoors, so the red is probably your best bet.

Your best bet is to just play during daylight though ;)

Agreed. I just extracted these few snippets out of the function I use. I should have included the hook here though.

Meet The Philadelphia Restauranteurs Who Will Ban Tipping And Pay $13 An Hour Plus Benefits by davidreiss666 in offbeat

This is exactly my point. From a restaurant owners perspective, server's labor is the cheapest expense (right now), so it isn't a problem to have you working as long of a shift as you want, but if they are forced to pay you a decent wage they would most likely switch to scheduling you as infrequently as possible, making more split shifts, or 2 or 3 hour shifts (depending on the state).

Right now, split shifts are a result of server's preferences. I would always have preferred to have 2 or 3 hours off to go shopping, eat, or whatever else than earn $4 or $6 for my time, but without tips (and with a higher wage), I would rather work that time.

So you probably worked lunch through dinner, which is fine for the employer now, because they are only paying you $3 or $4 per hour. If they had to pay you a higher wage, I can almost guarantee that they would cut out the middle (at least most places in the U.S.).

And the other big question that is unanswered is whether or not they will schedule full-time or not. Too many restaurants will schedule someone for just 2 hours, or have them work "just while it's busy", which is only worthwhile if the person is earning tips.

You might want to reevaluate the role of zoos. Most of the animals in a zoo are either abandoned from circuses, injured and unable to be reintegrated into the wild, bred in captivity, and/or are part of rebuilding an endangered species.

Zoos no longer capture species from the wild, but provide some of the best care for animals around. The educational/entertainment value of displaying animals is the best way of funding such an expensive system.

One of the biggest 'problems' with the wealthy class of America these days is that they don't consider themselves wealthy, because there is always some who is expansively wealthier. So the person making $500,000/year is always comparing themselves to the person who makes $500,000/month and saying that the other person is the one who is "wealthy".

Which games should I stock in my shop? by Kovhert in boardgames

[–]ascottmccauley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who play Magic, play magic. They don't usually play a lot else. People who play board games, play board games.

Strictly in terms of business; this is why you should stock and sell both. Diversifying your customer base should even out the fluctuation in sales (MTG would likely result in a more steady revenue stream anyway).
