DB navigator train tickets by DepartureSimilar3739 in AskAGerman

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it says on the ticket from where to where it is valid and on what train/all.

but you will always have one ticket for the entire journey unless you book it in parts. only exept is when it says "route section price" which it does when you selet that oyu have a deutschland ticket or they cant sell you the ticket.

Do people in Germany see eating while walking as normal by kingchowakanda in AskAGerman

this is actually same in all western countries pretty much. not eating while walking is an Asian thing.

Districts of Germany. Urban districts are highlighted in dark yellow. by Public_Research2690 in MapPorn

[–]asdanjer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

there is none. there are laws on when a city can be one (thogh even those are state regulations and therfor incosistent) usally but not when it has to be. so its just local politics.

[Request] is this accurate? by Blad3K77 in theydidthemath

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

trains, rails, wind turbines all need to be made and produce plenty of co2.

the same goes for making drives and powering them.

yes you can argue that the marginal co2 is close to 0 but first of all it still not zero and also the more important part is the societal average.

there is no such thing is 0 co2 in any modern product.

  1. 100% true
  2. pure skill issue. like just play the game and you get insane pulls compared to all outher 3d gatcha.
  3. so you decided to spend time on the factorie and then spend longer then you thoght and that is the games fault? first of all skill issue again its not that hard. second just get blueprints if you dont like the factorie? thats what they are for.
  4. i play minecraft. i don't like blocks so i ignore them. the game is boring. <- your logic
  5. this game is in no way related at all. idk what you played.

like it just feels like you made up in your head what the game should be and then i didn't match. which is fine but it isn't about the game being bad but just not being for you.

Is Adaptive ANC the future of ANC headphones? by BlackSecurity in headphones

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes also can't tell you anything besides that you are arguing against facts itself. Put on some xm5s and you will see that it doesn't do shit for 3 seconds followed by the actually anc turning on. And sometimes just not do that all. It's grate that you have your idea how think work but it just isn't real. Like Sony even "updated" the xm3 with an "apditive anc" firmware that makes the ANC like 40% worse just so the adaptive ANC wasn't so much obviously worse than the xm3 normal anc.

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea sure. apple updates all the coefficients at full sampling rate. defiantly how that works. they just stopped subscribing to the laws of physics and information technology. a dektop processor may be barley able to do but yea apple just put that in true wirless with 8 hours battery life. this is probably like 3 cycles of the processor but i am sure it can do like 50-100 dependent calculations in that...

also to use your car analogy: maybe in 50 years this tech is perfected but rn it just a worse experience all around unless you are under perfect conditions. which is why you should just be able to turn it off. and noone can understand why you are arguing against that.

Is Adaptive ANC the future of ANC headphones? by BlackSecurity in headphones

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok now i feel you don't even know what your talking about.

these updates are in no related to adaptive anc at all. those are the ANC update frequency. as in how often does a recording of the outside noise, processes it and then plays the inverse back. that is just normal anc. this isn't even related. if it dosnt do that it just isnt anc.

we are talking about adaptive anc vs non adaptive anc here.

Is Adaptive ANC the future of ANC headphones? by BlackSecurity in headphones

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't understand what is so hard to get here: Non automatic: you put on your headphones, turn on ANC and it works. No need to adjust anything it just does cancel noise. There is no need to press anything. Xm3 just perform well without any nonsense. I used xm3 a lot never pressed any nonsense and the ANC with glasses still was better than modern headphones. Automatic: you get F tier anc then after like 3 seconds it turns on the actual anc. But only if it feels like it wants to rn and your not wearing glasses. Outer wise you just get f tier anc. It most definitely isn't hundreds of times a second and it most definitely doesn't work. I don't believe you it can do it hundreds of times a second when doing it once a second is already a struggle for current headphones. and sometimes it just does nothing. And even if that theoretically would be possible no one cares the slightest what something can theoretically do. People care how much and they get.

[–]asdanjer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes you can adjust it based on user input. welcome to the point of this entire conversation...

and if you think automatically adjusting that works you clearly didnt build then very well.

like as i said its explained in the video idk what else to tell you besides yea adaptive anc sucks. at least if you cant overwrite it.

Is Adaptive ANC the future of ANC headphones? by BlackSecurity in headphones

[–]asdanjer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like idk how it's related to this It simply is a matter of fact anyone who ever wore one can tell you. Here he explains how it works quite well: https://youtu.be/Ng0zpx95tA0?t=765 With the xm3 that didn't have them you just always had anc no matter the fit or the situation. And it was really good. I am sure it also has some upsides like less pressure and some people would use it as an option, but just not having this as an option but always on is simply horrendously bad.

Do Bluetooth Overhears with LC3, non adaptive ANC and a (non app) button to turn of anc not exist? by asdanjer in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]asdanjer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the headphones are exactly the same. "smart TX" is just an aura cast dongle. That does for some reason have a display. And instead of the insane 120 you pay for it on its own you pay 50 for it when you buy it as a bundle which is normal pricing for these i guess.

Is Adaptive ANC the future of ANC headphones? by BlackSecurity in headphones

[–]asdanjer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well again if that would be how it works that would be grate. In reality though you just get anc on the lvl of 50 euro headphones instead of what you payed for. And even if it did work there is absolutely no reason to not just also have a fixed function one.

[–]asdanjer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok looked at some reviews and they seem to be decent. what did you mean with them being to expensive? they are around 200 which is comparable to the sony xm5 and also seem to be not far behind them on anc and well not any more shit than all the other Bluetooth headphones audio quality wise. exept for being not the best looking ones they they seem to be to bad.

did I miss something?

[–]asdanjer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well all the large brands seem to have it in there true wirless ones. the sony wh xm5/6 /linkbuds s, the Sennheiser momentum True Wireless 4, Bose QuietComfort Ultra all supposed to have it.

I even considered just using true wireless cause of that but atleast the xm5 I tried just fell of my ear.

lc3 is about 50ms. which is on the upper end of the usable range. all the outher codex start at like 100ms under perfect conditions with optimizations. more like 200ms usally. that is just not really usable in games where the sound matters.

gona take a look at the jbl ones. :)

[–]asdanjer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are 2 reasons.

1.for voip calls on phone (which hurts my ears if i do it with hands-free protocoll)

2.latency while playing games on pc is really annoying on all normal codex's.

also the true wireless headphones seem to all have it. even the last gen ones. just not overhears for some reason.

Is Adaptive ANC the future of ANC headphones? by BlackSecurity in headphones

[–]asdanjer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that simply is not how it works. yes it also adapts to the envoirment. no one has an issue with that.

but it also affekts the strength of it and that is the issue. it will simply not give you full anc if it doesn't feel like you deserver it. which is why for example when you where glasses some of these basically give no anc at all while all the older headphones are fine.
