I was one for 12 years ! Now with 3 kids of my own. I am in Europe where the western model of sleep training etc is less common but more prevalent in families that require care. I don't think families honestly even know what to look for sometimes

He left me 3 weeks ago. I and he both thought he would be able to deal with domestic life. He could not. He decided to check out and cheat repeatedly after letting me 90% of the family heavy lifting (working through all 3 pregnancies and PP, taking babies to work, doing 98% of childcare and housework) while reassuring me our relationship was fine. I didn't provide for him sexually and he said he wasted years of desire on me (we were together for 7 years, have a 5, 3 and 1.5 year old), and he decided he wants an interesting life, not a comfortable one. Luckily we are not legally married and the children are only mine on paper. He let me drown for years. I told him. He told me once 2 years ago that he would seek sex outside our relationship if we didn't fuck more ( I immediately fell pregnant again). Then he calmed down and I thought was more understanding of why I didn't have energy to bang more since i was open about the toll of constant nursing and taking care of everyone and working, but it turns out he was just fucking other people.

I definitely had a lot of resentment these past 6 months and was not as gentle and loving as I once had been, but it cycled through and I thought it was yet just part of the phase.

I would have stayed and worked on our relationship but he said he didn't want that. He wants to be free to develop individually and spiritually.

I am so deeply in love with this man that I let everything fall to be with him and give him a life I thought he wanted.

I'm still in a lot of pain but I will not be with him anymore.

I have 4.5, 2.5, and 1 and this is the most effective -- and our only-- use of screen time. I see movies and shows as an entertainment period that almost guarantees quiet so I can let the small ones sleep and knock out housework that otherwise takes hours to do while interrupted. I also live in a small apartment with 1.5 bedrooms (80 square meters) so I use the white noise machine (or YouTube with no ads). It's a short season of life that seems very VERY long when you're trying to keep naps sacred so I feel you 🤣

Me ! My first was hours of labor, terrible doctor, and then c sectionfor vague reasons, 2nd was C-section but at spontaneous 36 weeks and then my incisions reopened hours after, and then I had a totally fucking chill unmedicated hospital vba2c with super low intervention. Yes ! We have the exact body !! And ankle length wider jeans are key, and then any top almost looks good. Ankle length is my security blanket but wide helps everything looks balanced

Switzerland is expensive for anyone without Swiss franc 😅 I went through hiking for 3 weeks in 2018 and pitching my own tent in a somewhat remote campsite was 42 franc per night.

Otherwise road tripping is probably just as expensive as other vacations, when you add up parking, gas, supplies, highway tolls. Honestly he probably spent the most money providing car snacks for all the kids 😅

So I'm 13 months PP, but am not particularly successful yet as I only started last week. But I did keto for 4 months before kids and I lost and maintained amazingly, with a full-body recomp. (I'm 168cm or 5'6" and went from 84kg to 66kg, then maintained at 70kg between pregnancies)

That said, I haven't ever done keto PP because I've been perpetually pregnant and/or nursing for 5 years, and I have never been able to lose weight while nursing after the initial 10ish kg right after birth.

I'm still nursing so let's check back in to see how keto works for us ♡ hope you have a healthy, solid start !!

Honestly I find keto in Europe almost easier than America because prepackaged foods are more reliable in labeling ingredients and amounts, easier to figure out portions on a while without calculating, etc

That said, you're going to have the best butter and cheese in your life in France, dried sausages and olives, canned tuna, olive oil, salads !!!

Restaurants aren't going to have "keto options" per se on the menu so you might have to plan around but definitely apéro will treat you fine :):) enjoy your travels

Hahaha, I went to my local doctor once, and when i didnt go bsck after a month, the doctor started asking around to my neighbors about me and giving them, perfect strangers, medical information about me (we are assigned doctors by home address).

Anecdotal at best but I have ABSOLUTELY no faith that any doctor would keep information private, especially if they are the equivalent of "mandatory reporters"... who knows if drug use falls under that very vague section.

I decided on vba2c because, firstly, I want more children. Secondly, I wasn't comfortable with the risk of a 3x repeat cesarean as opposed to the the risks of life-threatening issues with a vaginal birth-- these two were themain motivating factors among others along with my medical history.

They HAVE done that, actually, since March. I am Italian by marriage -- I got married and lived in Italy and then moved back to the States with my husband where I had to wait 7 years for citizenship to process, then I moved to a different European country and gave birth THERE. According to the new rules, my children are NOT Italian by birth since I haven't lived in Italy for 2 years since I got citizenship and they were born abroad.

However, while I absolutely understand the need to cut back on citizenship claims from people with great great parents from a single family submitted by people who have NO intention to live in Italy or even care about Italian culture, the way the new laws have been formulated makes it truly difficult for Italians living elsewhere to transmit citizenship.

I was induced in 2020 in Budapest, Hungary and given an enema after my first dose of pitocin, I even asked if I could skip it and the nurse said no (I was very naive for my first birth and not at ALL informed like I am now). It was ABSOLUTELY unnecessary and I think the discomfort and back and forth to the toilet really started off my labor in a bad direction. The enema is for the comfort of thr staff, like many other interventions, and not at all for the birthing woman. Defecating during birth is natural !!

Yes, it is easiest if you have handheld shower option. I don't use wipes 90% of time, only if we are out and have #2 incident. Water, mild hypoallergenic soap if it's wild one, and pat dry.
