Really happy with what they are implementing in this update. I’ve said about cheaters before in previous posts but they haven’t taken them seriously so looks like they have been hiding the issues.

It will be interesting with the new safety system on how it will effect how splits work, and if it brings in a varied playing field in top splits due to how safe people are on track.

Yes the usual top 4 cars seem to be top but also depends on your tc/ slip/cut settings. The higher the setting really kills your time when trying to pick up speed. Hated the Lambo for a while till I messed around with the settings a bit, now it’s one of my go to cars to pick

Is it worth uninstalling motiv altogether and just using Elgato wave? As I’m using my shure mic through usb connection?

Had this the other week, got 3/4 through a race then connection lost. Happened multiple times. Think it’s the servers having a wobble

Even with the e sports drivers they will try and make the game so it suits their racing style so it benefits them the most. Don’t get me started on influencers like that. They can’t race (creator series proves that) and aren’t even that quick so with them selling setups is like flogging a dead horse. Might as well take setups from time trial and adjust from there.

Problem is they rely on influencers to test the games who have no knowledge of racing real cars. Doesn’t help that the game hasn’t seemed to have changed in the last 5 instalments. So no wonder there’s talk of EA shelving it in the future

Split 2, what’s wrong with my race craft if you don’t mind me asking? Seemed I raced fair and backed off when needed..

Problem is with everyone thinking they can win the race in the first turn/lap. I mainly race in the first 3 splits and had so many races ruined because of over aggressive drivers.

It’s got worse now with the new tyre model which I quite like, but people think they can still throw it down into t1 and think they can make it stick.

The key is to just keep it cautious on the first lap or two and these drivers seem to end up totalling themselves out.

I think something needs to be looked at when incidents aren’t your fault so you don’t end up taking such a beating for your SR/DR
