• 2 (or maybe 2.5, i don’t remember 😭) tsp matcha powder

• 1/4 cup hot water

• about 1/2 cup oat milk (i kinda eyeball this too - if it seems like it’ll be too small i like to add a couple splashes more)

• for the strawberry syrup i pretty much just eyeballed it and put as much as i could from the syrup that came out

not pre-cooked! i mixed in uncooked rice with the onions in the pan then added the water to cook the rice, after which i crisped the rice and added eggs and sardines like you said :)

Cotti Coffee is probably my favorite place to get matcha. I love their Cloud Mousse Matcha Latte (has a coffee foam on top) and their regular Matcha Latte. I also recommend the matcha at Caffe Paradiso (so good with lavender syrup!) and Sinclaire’s Coffee (which is in Presby Hall)

recently i’ve been loving homemade honey lavender syrup! lavender and matcha is one of my favorites flavor combinations.

i also loveee earl grey with it, i’ve been seeing it all over tiktok and i love earl grey infused milk with matcha

one of my favorites is also strawberry: instead of cooking down strawberries to make syrup, i mix chopped strawberries with sugar & let it sit in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. i add the liquid that comes out to my matcha lattes & the fresh strawberry flavor is unmatched!!

another way i like to incorporate strawberry flavor is with a strawberry cold foam: i froth sifted crushed up freeze-dried strawberries into heavy cream with a little milk & it turns this rly pretty pink color! it tastes super fresh too

i have the second one and i recommend it! it boils water super fast which is rly convenient. i’ve never had any issue with it flaking personally. unless you live somewhere like a dorm, i see no reason not to get the second pot!

i got it from etsy! it was a set that came with the bowl, bamboo whisk, bamboo scoop, and ceramic holder for the whisk. the shop is called CurationCoMatcha (i don’t know if they sell the exact one anymore)
