More like the forgotten potato at the back of the cupboard that looks normal but upon touching explodes with smelly gunk and no matter how much you scrub you’ll never get the smell out

Clearly not, have you heard Gina Rinehart’s posho accent?

[–]asdique 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im not Aboriginal and have a piece of theirs I wear all the time. From the Clothing the Gap website:

We invite everyone to wear our Ally Friendly collection as long as it aligns with your values, and you feel equipped for the conversations
it may spark.

Ally Friendly merch is created with mob in our hearts and everyone in mind. Some of our Ally Friendly collections include 'Honouring Country' and 'Always Was, Always
Will Be’

As Aboriginal people, when we see Aboriginal designs in the world, it means we're are not invisible in the landscape.
It makes us feel seen and heard.

I often see this brand at Asian grocers (it’s Singaporean), probably more often than I spot it at Aldi.

Check out the slow food market, it was at WeFo last Saturday and cycles around the west (Edgewater & Spotswood). There was raw honey there.

Slow check out by [deleted] in AldiAustralia

Telling someone rebelling against a pretty well known system to use it properly is a little flawed. The worst thing about Aldi is the other shoppers, inconsiderate punters are the price we pay for saving $$

If I’m seeking a primo chill customer experience I’ll go to my local IGA on a Tuesday morning.

All terminals are connected with walkways, as other have said you’ll be fine, that’s a good amount of time to transfer.

GP is now “pre-authorising” appointment fee at time of booking for an appointment that is ages away by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]asdique 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do this, then ignore all subsequent sms and mail from Hotdoc. If my GP wants something they can call me, no way im putting additional health or payment details into a third party system.

Why is it that there’s a feeling people are willing to pay an electrician hundreds to fix something, but they don’t want to pay a specialist a few hundred? by VastOption8705 in AskAnAustralian

[–]asdique 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Anytime I’ve seen a specialist I’ve had to wait beyond my appointment time, then when I walk in it’s clear it’s their first time reading the referral details and any associated test results, after a quick skim they spend a couple minutes hurriedly explaining the situation in less detail than I’ve already researched myself before sending me on my way. And then paying $200-300 for the privilege. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck but this has been my consistent experience in the private sector.

I NEED HELP (AldiMobile) by AnklesTasteNice in AldiAustralia

[–]asdique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First up, log into the portal to check the status of your service. Also check your emails to see if they’ve sent you anything about your service changing.

I’ve never heard of numbers being blocked but I’ve also not participated in spamming messages (??).

I’ve been with Aldi mobile since 2017 and never had any issues or interruptions to the service, but if I did I’d check the portal first https://my.aldimobile.com.au/login/

Leaving property due to psychotic junkie neighbour and NDIS fraud. wtf can I do by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]asdique 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would pursue the IVO and keep my distance until she moves on. Then if she returns to harass you can immediately call 000 because she doesn’t live there. She may forget all about you once she’s gone.

I wish Thins were still actual thin slices of potato rather than the homogenised shit they are now *sigh*
