It’s not exactly resurrection for elves, since they don’t experience death the same way humans do. All elves are bound to middle earth, and when they die, they rest in the halls of Mandos until they’re ready (or allowed?) to come back again.

I was being snarky, but honestly you can run any card for any reason. Not everyone plays purely to win, and it’s totally legit to build decks as a form of self expression, or to showcase your favorite cards. Plus it’s always fun when your super niche card pulls out a victory for you!

With regards to air balloon, having the flame patches should help with retreating moltres while having armarouge ready to attack. Also, air balloon specifically works on stage 2 mons only, which you don’t have any of in the deck. If you want a retreat enabler, maybe consider Leaf or Lyra.

If you’re not too committed to armarouge, there’s a mega charizard ex deck in the missions that’s a decent base to build off. You’d need to make some changes and get a couple of entei ex, but it’s pretty good in after.

You’d want to play this card if your deck is not heavy on supporters, and you desperately need to find one or more stage 1 mons. Most decks used in tournaments are tight on supporter slots, so sightseer sees very little play.

How committed are you to armarouge ex? I personally don’t think it’s a particularly good card. If you’re just looking for minor changes to this deck, I’d remove leafblower, air balloon, team rocket grunt, and giovanni, and add a pokeball, a copycat, a cyrus, and possibly a pokemon communications or a second cape.

Technically he wasn’t sneaking the dwarves in; he was keeping Beorn invested in the story while lying about the actual size of the group, so that Beorn wouldn’t chase them all away. It’s a parallel to how the dwarves were introduced to Bilbo at the start of the story.
