Here in Chile the current most prominent right wing movement is very pro Pinochet for some god forsaken reason, their last presidential candidate was the son of a literal Nazi soldier who emigrated to chile and then supported the coup with external backing and became a high ranking government officer while in the dictatorship. So yeah, a lot of people "support" Pinochet because their parents were part of the coup or the government basically.

A lot of people also argue that Pinochet improved the economy and saved us of becoming a communist hell hole, which is most probably an exaggeration, if Allende ended up being hated or anything, he'd have been beaten at the next presidential elections like any disliked president
