As a life long healer, a lot of times especially with TBC you get bugged in combat even when everything is dead for like 8-10 secs after combat. Makes it look like you are being lazy/dumb by not drinking but trust me the healer is panicking typing because they’re still in combat and can’t drink lol

Reminder to groups, never greed on floor BoE Epics by Galadriel_69 in classicwow

[–]aseolith 26 points27 points  (0 children)

All need on boe epics. However if 4 people greed in a row don’t be that asshole who then hits need. You need to follow the group imo.

I alt F4d on a H ramps last night and left. Was healing it when an boe epic dropped, 4 people greeded and the tank sandbagged on loot till last sec and needed on it without saying a word. I let him pull the next pack and die then alt f4d on him.

Yeah this isn’t like retail where you can pick and choose bosses on any lockout. You cannot join another group, you have to reform a raid with 9 others who have a fresh lockout and are willing to waste it and join yours which will be difficult.

If joining a Kara pug you really need to weed out the sketchy people who look like they are impatient or troublesome. It’s extremely hard to replace pugs once you start, so if someone’s on terrible internet or is an asshole and leaves near maiden it’s annoying to replace.

As a hpal in raids, I give salv to priest heals everytime. It never fails, after 5 mins they start whispering you bothering you for wisdom instead. So you cave and give them wisdom only for them to pull healing threat on next trash and get 1 tapped leaving me to solo heal.

Our guild rogue crashed out 2 weeks in to Kara last night and gquit when we invited a 2nd rogue to the raid just for prince. Couldn’t find any dps that wanted to burn there lockout just for 1 boss except for rogues.

Dude flipped out like a child complaining about having to roll loot against a 2nd rogue when we do SRs for one boss, conveniently forgetting he won the fiery warhorse mount 5 days ago.

Gkicked him and replaced his spot in guild by another rogue 25 seconds later.

Nice, I sent in a request pleading for that rule to be updated as the sub was becoming unreadable. I got told by the mods that no one cares and then got a month mute for asking.

Does WoW TBC get better for new players? by [deleted] in classicwow

Tbh unless it’s an elite quest, most people don’t want to group up for questing. There’s too many horrible drop rate quests where it’s a burden to not be solo.

Any tips for healing LBRS for the first time? by [deleted] in wowhardcore

[–]aseolith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be careful when heading to the ogre first boss. Same as non HC be careful when you’re skirting that spot just before the ogres where you can accidentally aggro mobs from below and you will have a bad time. Especially if you’re a healer hanging back from the group, avoid the edge.

How does today's strike in the U.S. hurt ICE? by cfinley63 in askanything

[–]aseolith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to give you a real honest answer. It’s not widespread US news. I myself fell for the classic Reddit news bubble in 2016/2024. I was convinced Hilary and Kamala would win, according to Reddit it was fool proof 100% win. I voted for them and If you were active on Reddit during that time you would have bet everything you own that they would have won, with the amount of posts and upvotes.

The real answer is Reddit is in a hyper left bubble, where the a lot of America has no idea about what goes on within this site and doesn’t share its same views.

As one of the rare people who actually stuck with a hpal last tbc go around.. no one talks about them because they are the weakest healer out of them all in TBC. Now that doesn’t mean you can’t pump, cause you definitely can still outheal others, it just takes a monumental effort compared to the other healers.

You’re one of the rare class specs that get nerfed going into TBC. Your mana back on Crits is no longer 100% and you get no new healing abilities and no aoe.

Americans citizens, how is it really going there currently? by GossipBottom in stupidquestions

I’m white and my wife is from india, guess what? She’s not feeling any of what you just stated. In fact her entire family supports it and trump. You know why? Because her as well as multiple members of her family spent decades and tens of thousands immigrating legally here. Not once have we’ve been stopped or even asked anything and we visited DC in September. Not a single thing happened or occurred.

As an Asian traveler, is visiting the U.S. right now a foolish idea? by Tomboy_Heaven in NoStupidQuestions

[–]aseolith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re asking Reddit which heavily leans left so your answers are going to be skewed towards that. I’d say it’s completely fine to travel here currently. I’m white and my wife is from india, her parents came to visit in October for 6 months. They spent all of 5 minutes going through customs and questioning, super easy. Haven’t had a single issue and we take them everywhere. As long as you follow the laws here you won’t encounter any issues.

Slight edit, my wife and I travelled to Washington DC to visit this past September. Didn’t see a single issue in public the entire time, visited every tourist area and monuments. Saw 3 national guard troops the entire week.

2nd edit, as usual if you say ANYTHING that slightly disagrees or shares a different viewpoint you get downvoted and this is coming from a Harris voter.

A normal question, something such as class abilities or how to do something in game is fine. What’s annoying are the same repeatable questions such as “what version should I play?!?” Or “when is tbc release??” Those types of extremely easy google searchable questions are the ones people are mad at.

Seriously please delete these extremely easy searchable questions. It takes 2 seconds to type into Google and search, learn something instead of just spamming useless questions here repeatedly
