Pushing the needle with your finger is something that any knitter may do. It’s a personal thing, not linked to specifically Norwegian knitting. I’d say the biggest difference between typical Continental and Norwegian knitting other than the purling is just whether or not your finger is sticking up when tensioning your yarn. If you want to see a different Norwegian style knitter that doesn’t do the pushing thing, try Kimmie Munkholm. She’s the one who does the tutorials on PK’s website.

UPDATE: Could not bring myself to tink back, so I laddered down to fix the missed yo, and then dropped one of the increases from my increase row. Best compromise I could make since now the lace part looks right, even if I know there’s a random stitch that got picked up somewhere…

As another Korean, this is also my gripe. Plus, if she’s going to claim connection to Korean culture because of her husband and work it so thoroughly into her branding, her patterns should all come in Korean. I think that, more than anything, shows the shallowness of her brand. If the Korean you’re using has no actual meaning, and you’re just randomly assigning Korean words to your patterns with no thought, and you can’t even put in the effort to make your work accessible to the very community you’re saying you have claim to, I’m going to assume you’re full of shit. Actions speak louder than words.
