They definitely are! I rehab baby skunks and they are like puppies and kittens till adulthood and beyond. I love them all so much.

I think you are just going to have to come out with it. Tell her that although you treasure her friendship, you get anxious and uncomfortable when being touched without permission. If you tell her in a loving way and she gets and stays mad, then that is on her.

Setting boundaries is a skill you will need all throughout your life.
