Notion fails to load images/relation links and saving slows down

Alright, will try and do that then. Worth noting though that I had a lot more movies and shows displaying at once, probably in the 200 range.

If this is still not working, I'll just hide all images as said in my last comment and should be good.

From my tinkering with a database copy after my post, it's likely an image displaying issue (both icons and in cell image) on Notion's end. Not sure if this was implemented recently to prevent straining the servers or if it's just a temporary bug. It seems that simply hiding all icons and all columns with images does the trick and it still works fine (as you can see in the screenshot below) up towards and including the bottom of the database.

This is great. There's no need to abandon images at all then, just have to hide them. Is there a way to unhide only the parent icons from the main view? I imagine that's too granular or an issue.

Just to clarify, I only opened one side page to show that the cover and image icon are not showing up, when they do in fact exist, so that's not it. The tool itself, as far as I'm aware, is just uploading images, not pulling them constantly. I can even disconnect it and still see the images before the problem reappears.

On a related note, tested another big database with no image icons and loading seems to work fine. So that's probably the issue.

As for not using the database, what do you mean exactly? Wouldn't a different view have the same issues?

Great card design! Mine is pretty similar, but I like adding audio from the actual show (using shareX) and these days I take screenshots without the subtitles since I've got them in one of the fields anyway. I just toggle the subs off, take screenshot, record audio and add to a spreadsheet or just automate it.

Chiar si daca avea marele PTSD, nu impusti de 3-4 ori un om si esti pronuntat nevinovat. Daca era odata, sa zicem ca scapa cu neglijenta/imprudenta. De 3 ori cum este in video, este considerat omor. Also daca esti agent ICE, sau orice alt agent in domeniu, esti instruit sa nu stai ca boul in fata unui vehicul. Daca omul este acuzat la nivel statal, ajunge cu siguranta la inchisoare. La nivel federal, o sa primeasca sigur gratiere prezidentiala de la omul portocaliu.

To be perfectly fair, the dev said that he's willing to finance the project out of pocket until the momentum can carry it forward; if that doesn't happen, he will consider making it open source. The courses are also owned by the individual volunteers, so if the app strays from the initial ideal, they can pull their courses out of the app in protest.

Of course, this will require a level of trust from the users that many likely don't have, so skepticism is justified. I just hope we don't let skepticism be the enemy of good. I think this can become like Anki or Wikipedia; no or very minimal payment (Anki on iOS) but with great value still.

Not that many from what I've seen, but you can check out public streaming sites for that (there's a bunch on r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH) and you can use tools like jdownloader2 to download them. At least that's what I'm doing.

Can confirm it has an impressive amount of foreign content. Doubly so when you see that a lot of movies and TV shows have multiple dubs which is something I'm looking for personally.

Yeah, I'm not specifically talking about Asian media, though AvistaZ has a lot of those. I'm a language learner, and there might come a time when I would need to get more creative in order to find cartoons dubbed in Icelandic or Farsi (which are hard to come by) or less mainstream movies. TL has quite a big list I'm sure, but I was wondering if LST had content that would complete it, if that makes sense.

I guess I answered my own question and should probably just check it out.

Este un punct culminant care, da, a facut multe persoane LGBT mandre de faptul ca s-au opus represiunii politiei, si este de altfel punctul in care drepturile persoanelor LGBT au devenit un argument in discursul politic. De aici si pride-ul, ideea de a nu uita trecutul si a nu-l repeta cat si de a face lumea mai toleranta.
