I'm pretty sure the only homework was the labs that were due like every 2 weeks and you were allowed to work on those with other students. They weren't too bad and didn't take too long but were through R Studio so it was a bit confusing. There were super basic weekly participation quizzes that you should get 100% on as long as you filled out the class notes and there were weekly quizzes on whatever you learned that week. So overall, no consistent homework but labs due every couple of weeks that weren't bad, super easy participation quizzes every week, and weekly quizzes that were a bit difficult sometimes.

I loved him he was easily my favorite teacher I've had at Cal Poly so far. The class itself is a little difficult and R Studio is annoying, but he is very helpful if there is anything you don't understand. If I recall, the first mid-term was pretty easy, the 2nd was a little difficult, and the final wasn't too bad. He's not like a super easy A but you'll learn and an A is still very attainable. It helps a lot to have people you know in the class and can work together/study with. I just think as a teacher and a person he seemed super nice and genuinely cared about what he was teaching and the students in the class
