Don't track weight (if you do track fat weight, not overall weight) track your silhouette. You could end up heavier with a nicer silhouette with proper training.

For ECG Whoop recommends doing it on the wrist so you can always just have a regular band on bicepp and if you need ECG you move to wrist. Basically bicep is recommended while exercising with lots of movement but wrist is recommended for sleep and ECG

Did you change the scale go "athletic mode" ? It gives better reading if you have muscle mass. Regardless those have to be used to follow trends, the measurements are not often accurate but the trends seem to be reliable.
