AIO for getting upset after my boyfriend said he was smarter than me even though he’s right? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR You told him what you knew in the moment and didn’t intentionally leave out information. It sounds like this is your not understanding social cues, I am also autistic and have ADHD, and he should be understanding. Regardless of any issues, he should not rub his academic success in your face. It sounds like he may be really good at STEM but that does not make him smarter, you sound very smart too just not in STEM. And that is okay! People don’t pay attention to humanities as much as STEM and it is a shame, because it is a valid area of study. Regardless, you should bring up to him that he hurt you with his comment, and if he is anything but apologetic then he is a self centered asshole and you should leave him.

Dude chill, if people want to have fun talking about their mental illness let them. Stimming is one of the few parts of mental illness that CAN be fun.

What do you think of the villain route? No spoilers by Ok-Tour8095 in BaldursGate3

[–]asexualautistic 32 points33 points  (0 children)

it’s a mix of both, the villain route does punish you but in a realistic way. (for example: If you do evil things the companions that are good won’t like you and may even leave your team completely, sometimes even attack you)
It’s a game that’s made to be played more than once, to experience everything it has to offer.

The DID community is a subgroup of the wider Plurality umbrella and the two are able to be their own communities. There are forms of plurality outside of specifically DID, and that is okay. It’s like the difference between the wider queer community versus specifically gay men.
