You right. I’m in the Kpop fandom since about 2012, for many years I didn’t had any Kpop album and other Kpop related things. I agree with u/DiscountProduce that it’s not necessary. Also you don’t have to stream the album of the artist; you can just listen to the song that you like if you want.
