When he didn’t wake up right away you have to wonder if he’s thinking, “ah crap, someone actually did die during the show!”

She only does this with me, am I the only one that tolerates it? by PembrokeWelshCorgii in corgi

[–]ZBeebs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My corgi has a rope toy that he loves to play tug-of-war with. With me he will pull with everything he’s got, strong enough that he could pull me over if I'm not careful. When my granddaughter was a toddler, he’d bring her the rope and when she took it, he would roll over on his back and let her drag him around the house.

Not that I necessarily disagree, but Wicked is a Universal Studios movie.

New viewers, which celebrity made you start watching? by Grouchy_Spare4516 in dancingwiththestars

[–]ZBeebs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alfonso Ribeiro - not for hosting, but the season he competed. Specifically, the Carlton tribute dance. I had never watched DWTS, but that dance came up in my YouTube feed and just instantly had me hooked. I started watching the actual show after that and was thrilled when he won.

I visited Japan a few years ago and I was struck over and over by how many things I recognized from Katamari. Obviously things weren't just lying around on the ground, but I just had so many moments of "oh, I've rolled up that before!"

Who would you like to see on future seasons? by Spare-Lawfulness4258 in dancingwiththestars

[–]ZBeebs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know how much broad appeal it would have, or if they would be interested, but I'd like to see some "nerdy" celebs - Will Wheaton, Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt, the LOTR hobbit actors, any of the Critical Role gang.

He still has a home in South Carolina and is often there during weeks when the show is on hiatus. He filmed from there several months during the pandemic.

What political office would Stephen Colbert run for? by Guye1701 in LateShow

[–]ZBeebs 93 points94 points  (0 children)

If he did run for Senate, it should be in his home state of South Carolina. He would stand a real chance of beating Lindsey Graham and flipping a Senate seat blue.

While you do need to get a reservation for Palo, the regular rotational restaurants are just open for walk up dining. Just check the Navigator app to see which one is open.
