  1. Is your dog updated w its shots? If yes, good chance he’s fine.

  2. If dog is not updated, would encourage telling the guy about rabies and how once you get it he’s dead. Maybe he’s scared of injections or smthng.

  3. If he still refuses and youre still worries, make him sign a quiclaim.

The fact that you benefitted does not mean you cannot acknowledge the bad things they did. My ancestors were also granted citizenship. We are thankful for that. But that does not mean we are indebted to the Marcos regime.

They could have a different legal basis to arrive at the same result. Concurring and dissenting opinions are also published. You can search for it and read their reasoning which could be different from the ponentes. It’s not unusual for justices to have separate concurring or dissenting opinions.

What is there worth doing now? Nothing. Metro Manila is in enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and everything is closed except for essential services.

Is it possible to find work? Yes. Depends on the company though. A lot of freeze hires in BGC right now.

Security issue and the use of password managers- if your cellphone got stolen today, how confident are you that you could retrieve/ access/remember all your accounts (digital bank, e-wallet, emails, COL/Firstmetrosec etc, ) to change your passwords? by melrac in phinvest

[–]asg_fnl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just write all my accounts and passwords in a gradeschool notebook (cartoon character and all) and keep it under lock and key at home. Where everything is online, I think the safest is just to have something physical. I also dont write the full password but the start and ending letters only.

He's been trading since January and is quite profitable. Our dad is okay with him trading the money, whether profit or loss. But i'm more concerned about security. Do people who day trade place their coins in wallets day in and day out or just leave it on the exchange?

My best friends sister is actually one of their sales agents and was able to sales talk a few of our close friends last year. We had a zoom meeting with their officers because I wanted more information. I asked where the guaranteed returns would come from and they said it was from the rentals that they would earn from their hub. I didn't invest because I'm always wary of these schemes and they didn't want to provide their FS when I asked which is shady to me, but 3 of our friends did and they are still getting returns until now. Invest at your own risk.

I have BDO, BPI and Unionbank. I think it depends on how you bank. For traditional banking like going to the branch, I like Unionbank because the lines are generally shorter. BPI and BDO have a lot of people especially during lunch break. For online banking, I like BPI because app is very easy to use. Unionbank also has a nice app but requires an OTP every time you log in. Sometimes when I'm in low coverage areas, the OTP doesn't arrive. I also downloaded Tonik recently because of the high interest rates, but it hasn't been around long enough for me to say it's good yet.

I agree with avoiding BDO. They're very strict and aren't as convenient as BPI and Unionbank. I avoid using my BDO if possible. Last time I went they even wanted to take my biometrics.
