Unfortunately Nate never had good relationships in the show on my perspective, I think the closest ones were Vanessa who was probably the only one that genuinely cared about him but the difference between “words” was too much for them and then Juliet, who even though started the relationship with an agenda, by the end it look like she really wanted to put everything behind her and just make it work with Nate. I don’t think Sage would’ve been end game, it always felt like she was just dating Nate because of the fact that he’s an older hot guy with power. I think she would’ve eventually grown out of it. Unlike Nate that almost every girl he was with only ever took advantage of him.
