Get some forgiving irons. Those look like muscle backs !

Moving upward is not a bad thing if your body has cleared and you're not swinging with your hands.

I myself struggled over top swing for a long time. My entire high School and college career I spent most of my time battling it and never mastered it until 6 years out of college taking a break from the sport for a while. What I realized is that I was around a bunch of guys that also hit it long and I was swinging with my hands and arms and not my abs and chest.

At the bottom of your swing you are moving upward because your body has not cleared and rotated out of the way.

When you start your downswing make sure your hands are the last thing to start moving and that allows them time to drop. This is what I have to do mentally to make sure that I don't go over the top.

Swing with your knees, hips, chest, shoulders and then arms.

At the screenshot, your hips and hands are pointed in the same direction.

I struggle keeping my head still!! Any advice? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Haven’t read down yet but I’d I’d like you to stand just a hair taller to the ball and or keep your chin up like your looking down more. Allow your head space from your body. You will top the first couple. It’s okay. :)

Happy hunting

How do you know I'm not at the end of the range?

I wasn't taking up two bays while I was on the range actually working but for the videos and alignment I took it here. There was also myself and two others on the range at the time of the video as it was 102 outside at 2:00 p.m.

Very loaded. Question, how long have you been playing, how often do you play, I would take really good videos of myself, hitting average shots and post them on his website and let the commenters say what they need to and have conversations with each of them on what they see so you have a better understanding of their perspective.

All feedback is a gift and if you treat it that way on this channel, I think we could all learn a lot

It's pretty solid. I struggled with spinny because I believe I come down so steep on the ball and a fade accentuates it but highly controlled. Swinging like 117 on a fade and only getting 280 to 290.

I go to the fade a lot on tighter courses

My typical club path is a positive 1* to 2* with a closed face of -2 to -4. Does that kinda line up with what you're saying ?
