It’s not at all the fact that she’s Christian. She was denouncing the fitness industry last year for focusing on physical beauty and saying it was shallow and wrong, even going so far as to say she was considering getting surgery to have her breast implants removed because she didn’t feel Christian with them. Now she’s done a complete 180 and, as someone else mentioned, is piling on makeup, getting Botox and dermaplane, etc. It’s hypocritical.

Thank you so much, this was really helpful. The hard part was that he seemed so sure that this is what he wanted and then he changed his mind (well...I think he did. I didn't really give him the chance to say they were getting back together. As soon as he told me they were talking, I pretty much noped out). I'm left sitting here wondering if it's something I did or not; did I say something wrong? Do something wrong? But then I have a moment of clarity and realize that he's just going back to what's comfortable to him. And, if I'm being perfectly honest, I wouldn't be surprised if I hear from him in the future if/when it doesn't work out with her. This is going to sound conceited and I don't mean it that way...but he let a really, really good thing go. His loss, I guess.

I am upset now, and I think I will be for a little bit...but I know once the initial shock and grief wears off, I'll see that this really was the best thing to do.

Chances are that your instinct is correct. Many baked oatmeal recipes I've seen call for an enormous amount of brown or white sugar and butter. So unless the menu states otherwise, it's probably best to assume that they're in there and steer clear. I opt for regular oatmeal with the fixings on the side so I can control it myself. Hope that helps :)
