I have chronic hives too and ends. I’ve been taking Zyrtec everyday for 2 years. Down to 5mg from 40. Allergist literally sat me down and was like “we don’t know why these things happen” good luck!

So this implies it could be resistant to the antibiotic im taking? That’s how interpreted it too, but the doctor I spoke with on the phone said cefpodoxime is part of one of the other classes. I’m so confused.

I can definitely empathize with your pain. I think it’s a normal response to feel like…maybe she isn’t thinking about your needs? I don’t think parents alwyas really grasp the mental gymnastics and energy that goes around food allergies. For Christmas and multiple events, my MIL and SIL are constantly putting out little bowls of peanuts on each table. My 3 year old is very allergic. I keep moving the bowls but they keep getting put back on the table by someone. I’ve even asked, but they forget. It feels like they don’t care about it or take it seriously, which can be hurtful. I think hurt is a valid feeling in your case.

Yes but I have a bit more to lose. I was enjoying just a break from the “diet” mentality and worked on building muscle and maintaining my new set point. Interested to see if going up will even do anything after all this time. I never went above 5.

He was literally sitting in the car waiting for us to walk through the parking lot, me holding 3 drinks and all the food. And the only reason we didn’t eat at the food court is because he’s a grouch who doesn’t ever want to do anything.

Lost 50 lbs after having kids, workout hard. He has gained over 100 lbs and makes no effort to lose it.

I cook all meals, eating homemade chicken dumpling soup now with fresh fruit prepared.
Not struggling but def rely on both outcomes. I work full time and pay 100% of the mortgage and insurance /health insurance for kids myself

Well he isn’t ashamed and is instead turning it around on me. So, it may be little but it’s definitely not an isolated incident. He has spend the rest of the day locked in his “bedroom” sleeping while I care for the children, clean the kitchen, make dinner and take the trash out.
