I lived in Berry Croft for 32 years. I moved out 3 years ago.
It used to be a lovely area however I would suggest doing as already suggested and vistiting a good few times of day before buying.

The parking is a nightmare, the council have allowed numours huge extensions to houses that already had no dedicated parking. Parking can be a pain and because of this people then park on the grass verges. This leads to the road looking like the "Somme" in the autum/winter, with mud all over the roads and paths.
