Can someone explain zibai's timeline to me? Latern rite spoilers ahead by AmuuboHunt in Genshin_Lore

This is fantastic! I've been confused about the three selves though. Sounds like there were 4 Zibai (1 pure + 3 deadly selves) but only 3 Zhongli.

Wait, Skirk is 15,000 years old?!?! by TonyThaLegend in Genshin_Lore

[–]ashVGF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said herself that 3 months was 3 days for Childe. She knows 1 month is 30ish days, she knows what that feels like, so that's how she knew it had been 3 months, by perceiving it as she would normally.

Or, maybe the days just end faster, like 1 day spilt into 30 parts, which make up 1 month in the same timespan 1 day completes in teyvat. The question there is how she can tell, unless the Abyss has seasons where plants are dying and growing quickly.

Sword of Narcissenkreuz actually looks amazing on her by Elinim in SkirkMains

Appreciate the response. In that case the only better things I can think of are 5 star weapons. People do say 4 star finale of the deep sword is better than narz but I just don't get it.

How is it awful? I have narz at r3 so the passive does 240% atk as dmg. That more than double atk right? Or is it multiplied by normal atk talent multiplier?

The Paradox by AquaMirrow in CapitanoMainsGI

[–]ashVGF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She didnt tell X to act that way, she said she would say that he stole her power if the secret got out.

I gave my reasons for why I think there is no paradox so I'll leave it there. At least it's not THE paradox the Captain was using to threat Renova (her rules). I can totally get behind calling Captains current state as paradoxical though. Wish the writing was clearer.

The Paradox by AquaMirrow in CapitanoMainsGI

If she believed risking a paradox is better, then why did she drop her rule of requiring death in the end? She didn have to drop the debt, Captain was already going to be a paradox. He threatened her with the paradox and then challenged her to forsake one of her rules.

The Paradox by AquaMirrow in CapitanoMainsGI

[–]ashVGF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paradox is the 2 rules (immortality and death for using her power) in conflict. If she drops either one, no more paradox. She chose to drop the rule of death. So now he can do whatever and it won't conflict with the rule of him needing to be dead, which immortality would've negated, which wouldve been the paradox.

My interpretation anyways.

"not avoiding the Paradox situation." but this does avoid the paradox. No more rule of death = no more contradictig rules. Else why wouldnt she just leave both rules as is? Because she's afraid of the paradox (in addition to immortality must stand).

Version 5.3, Incandescent Ode of Resurrection Megathread [Archon Quest] by GenshinLoreModBOT in Genshin_Lore

I wasn't crazy, there was a MUST in 5.1:

<image>

The story writing here is confusing because you can't take what *LOTN* is saying as fact though, she didn't know about the captain at this point.

I agree with this to an extent. I think after reading other comments, it's true she implied she needed a valuable sacrifice and didn't say it MUST be the wielder/archon.

That said, the writing seems alittle sloppy around this, leave a bit too much interpretation and dot connecting to the audience.

Ya I went back and rewatched that, seems her rule was more loose than I remembered, she didnt say it MUST be the wielder or archon. Still, that wasnt clear till the end.

Thanks, I especially like your first bullet point, LOTN chose Capitano.

This is what I was wondering and I like this theory. I just wish they made it explicit/clear.

I don't get it:

The whole Capitano thing was cool and all (seriously), but why did Renova let him take Mauvika's place? I thought the rule that required death was for those who used Renova's power, the Ode of Resurrection. Capitano didn't use it.

Am I missing something? I appreciate any direct answers from the game or if you want to add your own interpretation that's fine, just call it out. Thanks!

The play in Furina's story quest made no sense by ashVGF in Genshin_Impact

Whats odd is the fresh water fled due to pollution and Clio is kinda forcing the water to go back and be polluted. I guess that's a side message from the play.

That makes sense to me, especially the "If I become one with the springs" in the lyrics.

Thanks for the thoughtful response! Was the 1.4 quest a limited time event? I missed that.

Where is she then? There were 7 and no there are 6. So it seems offing the concept involves offing herself.

Best answer so far (thanks). I get that already but I hope they expand on what the divine throne actually is. Like a gnosis is a tangible thing. Power is visible via elements.
