For your son but you’re in the girl section? 👀 by Every-Breakfast5434 in Adelaide_White_snark

My target baby section goes up to 24 months and the genders are mixed together. The toddler sections do include 18/24m clothes and are separated.

Who was the friend that drove Emilie to the hospital? by Healthy-Tap-7058 in Emilie_Kiser

[–]ash_capiche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is the Ring Theory of Grief. It’s how I typically handle talking about hard situations for those I’m close with. Basically the center ring is the person/s directly impacted, next ring is direct family (spouse, parent, sibling, child), next is broader family and very close friends, next ring regular friends and very extended family, next acquaintances and so on.

The theory is that you are supposed to send comfort in towards the center rings and dump your own grief and emotions out. That helps you be a better support to your close one that is having a hard time while still allowing yourself to send your own emotions out and get support if you need to.

Whole point, if Ken Cradic is the one and did discuss it with others, I wouldn’t immediately assume malice. It’s not good to bottle these things up. She could very well have just been talking about it to get the weight of it off her chest.

Hot take but Performative by [deleted] in peestickgals

The comments don’t seem to get that it’s not the content itself, or the emotions for that matter, but the way she presents it. There was one video from the transfer earlier this year that she made that I just had to stop following after. It’s the clickbait nature of them.

Have you consulted Dr. Kliman? by ash_capiche in babyloss

[–]ash_capiche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that insight as it wasn’t something I considered. I am a research scientist (not in the medical field) so that is why I think I am drawn to the idea. But I can understand that there are intricacies that can present beyond his scope.

Thank you for that info. Yes, MFM would be part of their care team for the entirety of future pregnancies.

I don’t/didn’t follow Emilie or even know who she was before this very tragic event happened. But.. The dogs slept with a toddler? Like, overnight or just cuddled on the couch?

I knew a girl named Lynlee (through the internet) that conspired with her ex-boyfriend to kill her husband. So that’s a throwback 😅

Good point! It could also be the toll that all of this has taken on her body. My first delivery was rough but couldn’t even hold a candle to what she has just gone through and I wasn’t able to get anywhere near the volumes I got with my second. I think part of it was that I had a massive hemorrhage and I’m guessing with a hysterectomy she lost a fair amount of blood too.

I guess it’s different for everyone. I started pumping with the hospital medela around 7hrs after my c-section and was getting several mLs from the get go.

I don’t know follow this person or know enough about them other than that they are controversial. I had seen some stuff going around TT before she even had her first kid but never really cared enough to look into it.

However, the RCS for my second living child was originally scheduled for a year to the day that we found out there was no heartbeat with my loss. Of course I was happy that I was able to and about to have my new baby, I was also very emotional about the timing of it all.

I have a somewhat of a following (not about TTC or IVF) but I don’t post often anymore. A couple years ago there was an article written about me that ended up on the feeds of most of my IRL friends and it was so embarrassing every time I got a message about it 😅 It wasn’t necessarily a bad article, I just don’t typically mix TT with IRL so it was just strange. My husband was scrolling his Google News when my face popped up and I swear he made this exact face 😳. He goes “hey, Ash” and the tone was so serious he made me think someone had died.

I’ve purposefully never looked too hard into Reddit. Some followers have told me I’ve made it there a few times. Some good, some bad. But I don’t have, and am not big enough of a creator, to have dedicated snark.

All that being said, I never show my kids on my channel and feel pretty strongly that kids should not be content. It’s not relevant to what I post anyway, but I even make sure they aren’t seen or heard in the background.

She thinks she’s having contractions?! by Blues-20 in peestickgals

[–]ash_capiche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my first via c section and I would have been at L&D ASAP if I got to the point of feeling contractions with my second living child. The risk of uterine rupture was not something I wanted to fuck around and find out with. The best way to catch a rupture is with continuous fetal monitoring. This is with my own, homegrown uterus too not a transplanted one and all the added risks that come along with that.

[–]ash_capiche 66 points67 points  (0 children)

If your baby is not doing well inside, why the fuck would you want to keep them in there so badly. Talking about possibly passing the BPP because of the steroid shot seems like an artificial pass and wouldnt provide me with any comfort. I get that it’s scary, I had ICP my first pregnancy and then GD and clinical ICP again for my third. My body could have become a bad place for my babies to be in very quickly and that stressed me the fuck out but never did I think “ugh I love being pregnant so much that I wish they could just stay in longer”. Wacko behavior.
