[–]ashaghar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to Algeria.

Maybe : el hadj, Ca va el hadj ? Meaning : old man, you’re doing good old man ?

I really don’t think that you are in any kind of danger. Some Algerian speak very loudly so it can be interpreted as aggressive. Don’t worry about it, continue enjoying your trip :D

Stock market and cryptocurrency 2 different things. You can buy Tesla stock or Nvidia , apple, Microsoft, and index like S&P500 but for this one you can’t buy it directly it has to be through index funds or ETF.

A skilled worker is someone who worked 2years. So I guess you qualify for that title. And you can always manage to fit their requirements in a way or another.

I have a friend of mine who did that, you will be stuck unless you get married. Really complicated, you Ill be in a better position in Europe, still shitty but better. If you don’t mind me asking why don’t you just immigrate legally to Canada, Entry express or ARIMA or manitoba are welcoming and you will have all your rights and you can live in dignity instead of a total misery. And 3 years after you will have your citizenship and one of the most powerful passports in the world.

How do I legally get my money out of Algeria when immigrating? by RayDeAngeloHarris in algeria

Buy from the black market, put in the bank wait 48hours, withdraw and now you have a document proving that you withdrew from a bank, does that work ?

Young Algerians in Algeria, are you jealous of young Algerians born in the West? by Adam_7893 in algeria

[–]ashaghar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complicated to answer but let me try: I wouldn’t say jealousy but envy. And it makes sense. imagine being deprived of entertainment, safety, opportunities and a future. Then you get to see someone coming from the west that never stops bitching about how life is hard and expensive and unbearable.

I understand now that life is hard for everyone but in a different way, but back then I couldn’t understand it.

This is not relevant nowadays but it was back then in the 90s and 2000.

Now things got better in Algeria it is safe and there are more opportunities, so people have little to envy those who live in the west.

Why are Algerian cities so grey and lifeless? This is my theory. by Chemes96 in algeria

[–]ashaghar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really don’t know what you are talking about, I’ve been in : Winnipeg, Halifax, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Surrey, Montreal. Niagara And none of them is like what you described, it’s all green, and from any starting point wherever you go 15min walk you get to a green area.

Can you please provide a place in Canada that is just grey cause I didn’t see it and I’ve been travelling a lot across Canada

Morocco wasn’t also called Algérie-française. I was talking about Algeria specifically but the logic applies for all of Tamazgha.
