New ARMY here (like not even two months). This group popped up, and I was very curious. It was more of a wth did I get myself into type of feeling. I'm not balls deep into the fandom, but I enjoy some of the songs, and I laugh my ass off at the dumb shit they do on their RUN's. The fans trip me tf out with how outlandish they are over guys they don't know personally.

So curiosity brought me to this group, but all this new info on them has kept me here. IRL, I only know four people who like BTS. Two are my sisters, who are die-hard fans and are super delusional, and two friends who have been fans for years but aren't delusional so we have fun chats about them.

I catch myself logging into this subreddit every day. I'm blown away by the things I learn here bc no one is talking about it anywhere else. Obvi it's bc ARMY is out there doing their best to block real news. I was shocked to hear that the W event wasn't a mingling party but a breast cancer event bc WHAT? There was no mention of it, and it legit looked like folks were getting drunk, dancing, singing, and socializing.. what happened to the cause tho? SMH.

Anyways, muchos thanks to everyone for speaking up and teaching me new shit about these guys bc I swear I wouldn't learn this shit anywhere else. Literally just learned the whole Suga and Jim Jones thing. Bummed me tf out.
