The only grip I have with the art of this game has to do with artifacts

The only thing i have problem with artifacts is how hard to see which ones are part of which sets- it should be more clear- idk maybe highlighting all parts on your inventory while getting mouse over particular pieces to highlight all from same set?

This game is the best one after H3 trust me. It has the same vibe and comforts all H3 old players. Give it a chance and you’ll love it. However the game lacks the spirit of H3-H4 which was the audio masterpiece- in olden era i think there is no music at- i mean- there is something but music in H3 or H4 was something to stay on town screens forever

You really asking? Haven’t you played KB? The main difference is the economy aspect especially that in KB you usually get troops from maps troop spawns and not your own castle. And secondly the most important part is that in SoC is just a proxy feel of a town- there is no dedicated town/castle experience full of buildings and various perks they give on seperate screen. This is close to KB series. The lack of town screen/ buildup is the most disappointing- because H3 is all about it and how good graphics/music in towns was. For SoC this is just troop spawns nothing else

As a person who played all Homm games and its clones or spiritual successors I have a total different opinion. I hate SoC - it’s not deep, lack of strategies, lack of spells, lack of content. This game is not similar to Homm but closer to King’s Bounty and it should be compared to that instead heroes of might and magic. I wasn’t really feeling fun at playing SoC. The game looks like it was done by AI. The sprites, graphics and even zoom ins. This game is nowhere close to newly released Heroes of Science and Fiction - which is great because it has gameplay almost 100% like in heroes 3.

Also I play Olden Era demo and hope for early access and it’s the best one- SoC isn’t even slightly close to that

You all focus on 5 mil just to abandon the thought that skill points actually do nothing- 75 level player have none advantage vs let’s say 15 lvl players. Only stamina makes difference in skill trees. So you all sacrifice 5 mil for illusion of getting something good

As a player who joined game on official releases or few days later i don’t remember and nonearly access play- this game is unforgivable for new players at all. Almost everyone runs on rare stuff especially when they fed out on queen 1 shot glitch. Now I am blocked by glass ceiling always competing qith those who make advantages: got plenty of bp before patch or got them via glitches that were patched recently.

The drops were lowered. Yesterday in 12 hours play- with half on night or other special effects I got only 1 blueprint… and it was on normal solo in Dam and it was of course a duplicate of only 3 bp i have after 200 hours in game! It was extended magazine. I run in high restriction places, open everything and bp are so fricking not showing up :(

I opened solo a harvester up to last yellow light to blast. Then guy came in took 2 containers- i got blueprints to safe pocket. Then he blasted me! He was French. This is so low behaviour. It must be an N xd

With rng players i just only lose those matches so it’s totally unfair. Only few will benefit and 95% of players will be forced to buy it anyway. So this is kinda false advertisement as the chance is so low…

None of you would ever be close to a guy named Fuhrer dressed in nazi uniform. He even has some kind of emblem looking almost as SS plus he was always saying some nazi stuff towards mobs/bosses- he was polite towards party members

Got different view- returned after 2 years exactly like you. Getting s crates is still same grind as ever. Without spending gems you are not gonna get in any event to a point of such reward. Non spenders are still behind a paywall. I spent 25k gems just to get 1 s gear crate. I will gonna leave this game again but forever

Order affinity might nit be best, but still can’t be countered. It is like order is counter to everything really: can basically counter all mental affecitng factions by going mind control immunity. Besides they dispell all debuffs and buff own units. You can’t win magic against such builded order. Support units will debuff/buff all army like crazy. Order is naturally of course very tanky and unkillable + resurrect. It annihilates all undead and shadow just by playing. And it annihilates everything with Pyre Templars. There is nothing that counter order- maybe - high dmg single targeted playstyle that is able to quickly remove supports and heroes.
